When I made this website in 2017, it was my "safe" place.
It was my own little garden in a white blight light.
And that garden started expanding slowly and naturally to radio programs, zines, diary...
In 2021, it became a real garden!
For me, both gardens are essential and are similar.
I am wishing to meet people in the world through my gardens.
In this page, I am going to share updates, and ideas about my real garden in WA.
I don't know how yet, though.
Just like my gardens, it will change and will keep changing.
This is a safe place for you and everyone.

２０１７年にこのホームページをつくった時、
ここは、なによりもまず「わたしが」安心して遊べる、白い光に溢れた庭でした。
もちろん、いまでもそうです。
そしてそこから、ラジオ、zine、日記とお庭は自然とひろがって、
２０２１年には、ほんもののお庭に。
わたしにとっては、どちらの場所もとてもだいじですし、不思議なくらい似ています。
お庭を通して、いろんなひとと、出会えたらと願っています。
ここのページでは、ワシントン州にある、お庭の様子を少しでもシェアできればと思っています。
どんな形になるかは、まだわかりません。
わたしのお庭はいつまでも完成しない、自由にくるくると変わっていく場所です。
どなたも安心して、遊びにいらしてください。

Sub garden. The previous owner used this area to burn woods, so it contains lots of ashes and some charcoals...

サブのお庭。前住者がここで木材や落ち葉を燃やしていたようで、灰や木炭が多い。

I plant perennial herbs here. Good soil, lots of earthworms!!
多年草のハーブガーデン。みみずがすごい多い！いい土。
orchard
There is old apricot and cherry tree in the yard and that inspired me to plant fruit trees. so far I have apples, pears, and many berries!
小さな果樹園
もともとあるサクランボ、アプリコットに加えて、リンゴ、ナシ、ベリー類を少しずつあちこちに植えています。

Main garden. I plant various vegetables and some culinary herbs here. lots of stones.

川底だったのか、小石が多い。

Almost Canada.
Winter -4F, summer 110F.
Dry, sunny, snow.
このエリアについて
ワシントン州西北の小さな町。
隣町がカナダの国境。
北海道より北で冬は寒い（ー１９度）が夏は暑い（４５度）
乾燥していて、夏は晴れが続くため山火事危険エリア。
積雪は１メートル以下で３月には溶ける。
sunroom
An old trailer attached to main house. We use as sunroom/art studio. No insulation, it gets so cold!
木造の家にくっついているトレイラー。サンルーム、アートスタジオとして活用。断熱材が入っていないので、めちゃくちゃ寒い。
about us
A couple who moved from Brooklyn, NY in June, 2021.
No experience of farming nor gardening.
Born and raised, and lived in the cities.
わたしたち
ニューヨーク州ブルックリンから２０２１年６月に移住した夫婦。
農業やガーデニングの経験はほとんどなし。
お互い、都会の生まれ育ちで、これまで郊外に住んだことがない。
じぶんたちの食べるものをじぶんたちでつくることを目指しています。
