Woke up 9...
I watered the garden.
Had coffee and fig bars.
I kept working on mudding the bedroom wall.
Putting tape on the seams is so hard...
Especially between wall and ceiling.
I kept trying.
Dan was installing the ceiling fan.
It was my dear friend’s birthtday.
We facetime around 2?
She’s trying to get off from work to visit us.
We stopped and went to the farmer’s market around 3.
My friend was not there.
We ate tamales and doughnuts peaches.
M came around 5?
He told me that I need finishing mud for the last layer.
I finished taping whole bedroom around 6...
Now it got much easier because I know that I can add more mud to make it better.
Dan made hot sandwich with kimchi and called it “kimcheese!”
We had relaxing night.
Went to bed before midnight.
９時に起きて水やり。
コーヒーと、いちじくのバー。
ベッドルームのパテ埋めのつづき。
石膏ボードの隙間には、紙のテープを貼っていくのだけど、縦の線はうまくできたけれど、横の線はパテが垂れてきてむずかしい。
さらに壁と天井の間はとっても難しかった。
がんばって続ける。
そのあいだ夫は天井の扇風機を設置していた。
今日は友達の誕生日。
お昼頃電話する。遊びにきたい、休みがとれるかなーとのこと。
３時ごろストップして、ファーマーズマーケットへ。
今日はマライアはいなかった。
タマレを買って、ドーナツピーチと食べる。
Mが久しぶりに来た。５時ごろか。
パテの２回目のやり方と、仕上げの方法を教えてくれた。
もっと乾くのが遅いパテを使うらしい。なるほどー！
ベッドルームのテープ貼りを終えて、窓枠の2回目を試してみる。
なるほど、だいぶやりやすい。
ちいさなミスは気にせず、２回目でたっぷり塗ればいいんだとわかってラクになった。
夫がキムチ入りのホットサンドをつくってくれて、キムチーズ！と得意げに命名していた。
夜はゆっくりする。
１２時前に寝たと思う。
