The smoke was gone overnight.
I watered the garden and trees.

And pruned others and peppers.
Hoping that less leaves would help them ripe the fruits.
I sow the wheat after the tomatoes.
It looked really different.
Laundry.
We went to the farmer’s market.
Everyone has many produce now.
Everyone looks happy.
We got tamales and corn.

Tennis is tricky.
I talked with my friend in Japan for the first time in a while.
Our birthday is the same, and we live in the same rhythm.
Dan prepared for BBQ while I was talking.

Saige was there waiting for her treat, but we only gave her dog biscuits.
I used corn holder which was belong to Dan’s mom.
Hope we will have our own corn next year.
煙はひとばん明けたらすっかりなくなっていた。
快晴。
7時ごろから水やり。
しっかり木にも。
コーヒー、オートミール。
今日はトマトを数本引き抜くことに。
まだ実がついているものも、葉を刈り取ってしまう。
ペッパー類も葉を少なくしてみたけれどどうかな。
トマトを抜いた後に麦を撒いておく。
かなり景色が変わるなぁ。
洗濯。
今日はファーマーズマーケットの日。
ちょうど今がいちばん野菜の数も豊富なころ。
にぎわっていてたのしかった。
タマレとコーンを購入。
オンス・ジャバー選手の準決勝は、ちょっと拍子抜けするくらいだった。
2セットともほぼストレート勝ち。
相手は、ココ・ガルフ選手と対戦した時には無敵みたいに思えたのに、テニスって不思議だな。
夕方、日本のお友達とひさしぶりにおしゃべり。
ああ！と腑に落ちることが多くてたのしかった。
おなじリズムで動いているひと。
わたしがしゃべっている間に夫が準備してくれて、夜はバーベキュー。
漬け込んだチキンと、タマネギ、コーン。
セージがおこぼれを待っていたのか暗くなるまでいたけれど、
犬用のビスケットだけ。
夫の母のものだった、コーンに刺してつかうホルダーでコーンを食べた。
おいしい～。
来年は自家製のコーンが食べられたらいいなぁ。
