yuko's diary 9/7/26

Monday.

I woke up late and started shokupan and rye bread, then went back to bed.

It was a chilly morning and also didn’t go up whole day.

I warmed up the soup for lunch.

It’s soup season already.

Picked tomatoes.

Really getting close to the end.

I cleaned the window.

Today I wanted to clean the bedroom window, and so I cleaned AC and put it away.

Although we didn’t use it too often, the filter was dirty.

Felt good to clean.

Then went out to work in the garden.

When I was squatting, Saige came to say hi.

She comes so close without saying anything, she often scares me.

Let me pad her until she had enough, and left for somewhere.

Dan made us beef tacos for dinner.

It was the same one as yesterday, and it was really good.

We listened to baseball, and took it easy.

I took shower.

Back to work!

月曜日。

のんびり起きて、食パンとライ麦パンを仕込み、二度寝する。

朝晩はもう肌寒いけれど、今日はその後も気温が上がらずずっと寒いくらいだった。

お昼に昨日のスープを温める。

もうスープの季節かも。

トマトを収穫。

そろそろ本当に終わりが見えてきた。

窓掃除の続き。

今日は寝室の窓を拭きたかったので、ここの窓に排気しているクーラーを先に片付ける。

あんまり使わなかったのに、フィルターにはしっかりホコリ。

きれいにすると気持ちがいい。また来年ね。

寝室の北側の窓は、外からは結構高いところにあるので、少し拭くのが怖かった。

その後はお庭に出て草引き。

そろそろ片付けのことを考えながら動いている。

今年はカバークロップではなくて、夏野菜をそのまま残す方法でやってみようかなと思っている。

お庭でしゃがんでいるとセージが挨拶しにくてくれた。

すぐ近くまで無言で寄ってくるからびっくりする。

撫でまわして、満足したらどこかへふらりと去っていく。

夜ごはんは夫がつくったタコス。

昨日と同じだけど、味が染みていてとてもおいしい。

野球中継を聞きながらのんびりする。

途中でお風呂。

明日は仕事だー。
