Woke up 9.
I watered the garden.
As we learned from the Youtube video,
I started working on “trim less window” on the three windows in the bedroom.
Dan was working on million things.
He removed old door case in between bedroom and kitchen, put the last wall piece in the bedroom, cleaned the trailer...etc.
He also cooked fried green tomato for lunch.
It was delicious.
He called his friend who is from south to ask the recipe.
Then I started working on the mud...
It was little harder than I thought.
An ice cream truck came to our property, so we had some ice cream break.
Then when I back to work, the compound was too hard to deal with... hmm.
I quickly leaned to make small amount of compound to work with.
I guess I was obsessed. Worked until 7.
Dan heated up soup, and we ate with leftover from lunch.
It was new moon. The stars in the sky was crazy.
We went to bed late.
９時に起きた。水やり。
昨日ユーチューブで習ったとおり、石膏ボードで窓枠をつくる。三連の、小さな窓のほう。
こちらはあまりしっかりした枠にしなくていいだろう、という予想。
石膏ボードにはだいぶ慣れてきた。
夫はすることが山ほどあって、どんどんこなしているようだった。
ベッドルームとキッチンの間のドア枠を外して、ベッドルームの最後の壁を貼ってくれた。あと、モバイルホームの床を掃除してくれた。
お昼には、フライドグリーントマトをつくってくれた。トマトのパスタと。
同じ名前の映画があったなぁ。覚えてないけど。
初めて食べたけど、とってもおいしかった！
それから、石膏ボードのパテ埋め。思っていたよりすこし難しかった。
パテがすぐ乾いちゃう。夕方の一番暑い時間帯に、南側の壁をやっていたからかな。
アイスクリームトラックが来たのでチョコバーを買って食べている間に、パテが固まってしまった。むむ。
少量ずつ作って使い切るのがいいのかもしれない、と調整していく。
完全にとりつかれて、７時すぎまでひとりで取っ組み合ってた。
夫がスープをあたためてくれて、お昼の残りと食べる。
今日は新月。
星が、ものすごく見えた。
すこし夜更かしする。
