I overslept.
Woke up little before 7 and watered.
Coffee, oatmeal.
Eating oatmeal feels like fall.
I harvested corns, but I failed it...
Except 2 of them, there’s no fruits.
So I pulled them out, cut, and turn it to mulch.
Also I pulled cucumber.
Cut some of them and harvested seeds.
We could have the first frost in the end of this month,
so I need to clean up little by little.
Dan worked hard to do good BBQ.
First, he made BBQ sauce with my ketchup, and marinated chicken.
Then he roasted peppers, eggplant, corn, and chicken together.
He also warmed tortillas and we ate tacos style.
Very good.
Joe came to visit us.
Saige came running when she found Joe’s car.
Even though she is scared of cars, she doesn’t care Joe’s as he’d give her so much biscuits.
Debbie was also here to pick up old woods.
She needs to repair garage wall.
The dinner was leftover chicken, tomato, cucumber over rice.
We watched tennis match.
Now Serena is done, we can relax and enjoy the tennis.
朝、少し寝坊。
7時前に起きて水やり。
コーヒー、オートミール。
昨日から朝食にオートミールを食べているけれど、秋が来た感じがする。
トウモロコシを収穫してみたけれど、
２つだけ、ちょっと実がついているものを除いて、やっぱりちゃんとできていなかった。
残念。
引き抜いて、カットしてマルチに。
キュウリももう終わり。黄色くなっているものを開いて種を収穫したあと引き抜く。
キュウリのあとにはカバークロップをまいておく。
早ければ今月の終わりには霜が降りるので、少しずつ片付けていかなくては。
今日は夫がBBQをしよう、と張り切っていた。
昨日できたところのケチャップを入れてBBQソースをつくり、チキンを漬け込んで、
お庭からはナス、ペッパー、コーンを。
トルティーヤも一緒に温めて、タコス風にして食べた。うーん、おいしい。
いっぷくしていたらジョーが来る。
ジョーの車を見つけてセージも走ってきた。
セージは車が怖いくせに、ジョーはビスケットをたくさんくれるから好きみたい。
デビーもいらない廃材を取りにきていた。
運ぶのを手伝う。
ガレージの壁の補強にするみたい。
夜ご飯はごはんの上にお昼の残りのチキン、トマト、キュウリを載せたもの。
テニスを見ながら食べた。
セリーナの試合が終わって、すっかり落ち着いて見ていられる。
チュニジアの選手を応援することにした。表情が豊かですてき。
