Friday, Dan is off today.
He started moving before me, and then I realized that it was already 10!
Wow.
It’s a beautiful day.
Coffee, peach and yogurt.
Dan was up in the attic to finish the bent in the bathroom.
I was trying to wash some wood board outside and realized the irrigation water is back.
Yay.
So I changed my plan and watered the garden.
Debbie came and three of us took a look on their roof.
They wanted Dan to fix the leak.
Our guess is the gutter is supposed to be under the singles, but it isn’t.
Somebody tried to seal the gap with silicone but it went old and had cracked.
So we need to replace it with some better roofing material.
I finished watering, and Dan wanted to do BBQ.
I got peppers, onion, thyme, parsley, basil from garden.
We also had corn, zucchini, and potatoes.
We marinated chicken and steak in the sauce which we used my ketchup and tomato sauce and sun dried tomatoes.
While we were cooking outside, Saige came and she wanted some food too,
but we only gave her dog biscuits.
We cooked tortillas too and eat as tacos.
It was really good.
Mets vs. Braves.
Mets was not doing great, and we couldn’t watch them lose.
This series is most important one in this year...
We had leftover for dinner, and went to bed early.
金曜日、夫はおやすみ。
わたしより早く動き出したなと思っていたら、もう10時だった！
よく寝た～。
いい天気。
コーヒー、モモとヨーグルト。
夫は屋根裏に登って作業をしていた。
バスルームの排気口をつなげるためにいろいろ必要みたい。
わたしは外で洗いたいものがあって、ふと用水路の蛇口をひねってみた、ら、出た！
よかった～。昨日止まっていたのはどこかで修理していたのかも。
それでそのまま水やり。
途中でデビーが来て、夫といっしょに屋根の様子を見にいく。
雨漏りがしているから夫に直してもらえないかということだった。
雨樋の設置の仕方を間違えていて、隙間をゴム素材で塞いでいたけれどそれが劣化したのでは？ということになった。
とりあえず今日はここまで。
水やりを終えて、夫もきりのいいところで、バーベキューをすることに。
お庭からペッパーを何種類かと、タマネギ、タイム、パセリ、バジルなどハーブを採ってくる。
昨日のコーン、ズッキーニ、ポテトも。
チキンとステーキ肉をトマトソースとケチャップ、サンドライドトマトも入れたマリネ液につける。
きれいに並べて外へ。
セージが来て、欲しそうにしていたけれど、ビスケットでがまんしてもらった。
トルティーヤもいっしょに焼いたので、
タコスにして食べる。
うーんおいしい。
秋の収穫祭だ。
しかしローストされた野菜ってなんでこんなにおいしいんだろう。
炒めたものとまた違うおいしさ。
夕方、メッツがブレイブスと対戦。
この３連戦で1位と2位が決まるので大事な試合なのだけれど、
出だしから不調で見ていられない。
夜もお昼の残りを食べて、早めに寝たと思う。
