Woke up 9, Serena was about to leave for another trail.
I decided to come along.
The trail she found online was not available, so we instead went to the ranger station.
The ranger was flirting with Serena, so annoying.
We went to buy a map for her.
Then got some browny at co-op and went home.
We cooked breakfast together: eggs, bacon, cucumber, kale oatmeal.
All three of us ate, and after while we went to the trail run!
It was getting dark, the rain was about to start.
But we made it to the end of short trail and back.
It’s funny that she introduced us about our neighborhood.
Back home, Serena took shower, she started packing.
Dan and I were working on the kitchen when the rain started.
We had to cover over the RV, and then we all went to the farmer’s market thinking they might close early due to the rain.
But they were there!
We got tamales, tomatoes, apples.
Serena bought a lot more.
Back home, we slowly cooking dinner and also ate tamales for snacks. Yum.
The sunset was so beautiful, we watched it for one hour.
The dinner was the same soup with new ham, instant mashed potato, and beans.
It was hard to say good night knowing she’s leaving early morning.
I have a feeling that our second guest will be her again.
９時に起きて外に出てみると、セレナはまた走りにいくとのこと。
近くにほかのトレイルを見つけたそう。
わたしはついていくことにした。
でもこのトレイルは柵がしてあってはずれ。代わりにレンジャーのいる施設に明日からのセレナのキャンプの相談にいくことに。このレンジャー、若い男性で、セレナに完全に口説き口調で笑けた、仕事しろー！
その後他で地図を買って、コープでブラウニーを買って帰宅。
朝ごはんを一緒につくる。
目玉焼き、ベーコン、きゅうり、ケール、オートミール。
ダンもいっしょに食べる。
それから昨日セレナが行ったトレイルに走りにいくことにした。
薄暗くなってきていて、雨が降るのがわかっていたので早めに出た。
すごい大きな岩の間を抜けていく１マイルほどの短いトレイルで、道は安定していたのですこし走る。夫とわたしはひさしぶりですぐに疲れてしまった。
うちのすぐ近くなのに、セレナに教えてもらっているのが笑える。
戻って、ふたりでブラウニーでお茶をしながらおしゃべり。
それからセレナはシャワーと荷造り。
わたしたちは壁の作業をしていたら、雨が、しっかり降り始めた。
キャンピングカーはすこし雨漏りするのでそのカバーをして、それからファーマーズマーケットへ。雨でしめちゃったかなと思ったけど、みんなまだ開いていて無事にタマリや野菜を買えた。セレナ曰く、ロサンゼルスと比べてめちゃくちゃやすい！とのこと。
もどってタマリを食べつつ、のんびり晩ご飯をつくったり、
荷造りを手伝ったりする。
夕焼けが見事で、３人で見惚れる。
夜ご飯はずっと食べ続けているスープにハムを追加したもの、インスタントのマッシュポテト、スナップ豆。
ああ、おわってしまうー。
でも、ものすごくうれしかった。
お客さんがきてくれて、ほんとうに家になった、と感じた。
