Thursday.

I went to Brewster today.

It was raining around our town, but it stopped when we went towards south.

It was beautiful sunny day in Brewster.

Oh yes, this town is so beautiful. It’s been so long to see it clearly.

We had two Spanish only patients and after that, it was long waiting period.

I worked on my study.

After lunch, I went for a walk.

It’s perfect fall weather.

I took 3 pm bus and then another one to go to Walmart.

The passengers were all non-whites and it was great.

Dan came to see me in his break, and we bought binder and he walked me out.

It was nice to see him, and when I was waiting for bus, he texted me.

They are evacuating customers and staff.

Wow.

I got worried but took the bus anyway.

When I got home and doing dishes, Dan came home.

They sent everyone home.

Wow.

It was nice surprise.

We barely have chance to spend evening together.

Dan ate his lunch at work, so only I ate dinner.

Ramen he left for me.

I organized my notes and put them into the binder and realized it is not big enough.

Oh well.

We got hungry later and made soy sausage and some tomato and cucumber.

It was like izakaya.

Went to bed early.

木曜日。

ブリュースターへ。

家の辺りは雨が降っていたけれど、南に行くにつれて晴れてくる。

病院に着いたら快晴。大きな川がものすごくきれいに見えて感動した。

そうだ、ここはこんなにきれいな場所だったな。

2件、スペイン語オンリーの患者さんをこなして、あとはひたすら待ち。

しっかり勉強を進めた。

お昼には歩きにもでられた。

秋晴れという感じの天気で気温もちょうど良く、とても気持ちがいい。

3時のバスにのって、それからいつもなら図書館へ行くのだけど、今日は夫の職場で買い物したく、別のバスに乗ってみた。

乗客がわたしを含めてみんな白人じゃなくて、なんだかとても良かった。

休憩中の夫と合流して、勉強用のファイルを買って、バス停の近くまで送ってもらう。

少しでも会えてよかったなとバスを待っていると、店中避難指示が出て外にいると連絡。

何が起こっているのかわからず不安になったけれど、大丈夫とのことなのでとりあえずバスに乗り込む。

家について片付けていると、夫が帰宅した。

電気関連の事故らしく、特に危険はないものの、帰宅命令が出たのですぐに帰ってきたそう。

あら、これはうれしいアクシデント。

夕方一緒にゆっくりできる日はめずらしい。

夫は休憩中にごはんを食べたばっかりだったので、わたしだけ晩ごはん。

お昼に残しておいてくれたギョウザ入りのラーメンを食べる。

買ってきたファイルにノートの整理をしていると、全然足りないことに気づいた。

あらま。

野球中継を聞いていたらお腹が空いてきたので、大豆ソーセージを焼いてつまむ。

トマトとキュウリの発酵づけも。

居酒屋ぽくて楽しかった。

早めに一緒におふとんに入る。
