Sunday.
I woke up late and did watering.
The sun was out, but it’s not as hot as last week.
The fall is here.
I started cleaning up the second garden which I let the weed to take over.
Today I cleaned one row and scattered winter wheat.
The weed did their job to keep soil soft and moist.
This area was used to burn stuff, so there is ash and charcoal.
I am trying to improve the soil over years.
Then I did painting.
I painted the mobile home walls and I had to go around the fridge and pile of fire wood.
I decided not to move the big pile.
And that’s it.
We are done for painting for most of part.
There is few spots we need to paint, but we have time.
Dan did bbq again.
He made sauce using my tomato sauce from last year and marinated chicken.
Also corn, sweet potatoes and shishito.
It was so good.
I wanted to watch Ostapenko and Swiatek, but the internet was not working.
So instead I worked on the merch design.

ゆっくり起きて水やり。
日が出てきたけれど、刺すような強さはもうない。
空気がすっかり秋だ。
放置していたふたつ目のお庭を少しずつ整理し始める。
まず、ひと畝きれいにして、冬小麦の種を蒔いた。
雑草のおかげで土が柔らかくて作業がしやすい。
ここは前住人がいらないものを燃やしていたようで、炭と灰がまだ残っている場所。
少しずつ少しずつ土をよくしていければいい。
それからペンキ塗り。
モバイルホームの入り口の周り、薪が積んであるところを丁寧に塗っていく。
小さな薪の山は動かして後ろを塗ったけれど、大きなのは諦めた。
来年の春にでもやろう。
これで大きな部分は終了！
ああ、スッキリした。
夫がまたバーベキューをしてくれた。
今度は去年のトマトソース瓶とウスターソースで漬け液をつくり、
鶏もも肉をじっくり漬け込んだもの、
サツマイモ、コーン、シシトウ。
どれもとってもおいしかった。
夕方、オスタペンコが、世界ランク1位のイガ・シフィオンテクと対戦。
見たかったけれど、ネットの調子が悪く断念。
代わりにデザインの作業を進めた。
明日もお休み。
