Woke up early.
After Dan left, I had eggplant miso soup and rice.
It’s really good.
I went outside and cleaned the area that I’m going to plant shallots and garlic.
And sow more seeds like wheat and other stuff that didn’t germinate.
I cut some fire wood and kindles.
As I was planning to talk with my friend in the afternoon, I tried to finish errands before.
I took shower, did laundry, and then my new phone arrived.
Finally!
After meeting, I put the laundry out, and started working on new phone.
There’s so many settings...
I managed to finish it except transfer my number.
I gave up there.
Saige was here, so we went to mailbox. I talked to Debbie.
The Egyptian walking onion’s seedlings were in the mailbox.
I am happy to discover this perennial onion.
They will walk around and propagate all over the garden.
I plant them by the herb garden.
Will plant more.
Dan came home early, so I borrowed his phone and talked to my old provider.
They are Japanese company and I had it since 2012.
Thank you and good bye.
Dan told me he thought I was talking to my friend.
Yes, that is how we talk to strangers.
Dan made dinner. Pasta.
Before we eat, he had to talk to new provider and finally I got my phone working.
Yay!
It was busy day...
夫を送り出して、コーヒーのち、昨日のナスのお味噌汁とごはん。
ああ、おいしい。
昨日の続きで、シャロットとニンニクを植えるところを耕して、
芽が出なかった麦やその他の種を追加で植える。
薪も用意して、と。
お昼からお友達と電話しようということになっていたので、
さっとシャワーを浴びて、洗濯機を回していたら、携帯電話が届く。
ついに！
先週注文しておいたのだった。
楽しくしゃべってから洗濯物を干し、
携帯電話の設定に取り掛かる。
データを移すところまではできたけれど、
番号を移管するのができない。
疲れて放り投げる。
セージが来ていたので、いっしょに郵便受けまで歩いていく。
デビーとちょっとしゃべったり。
郵便箱にはタマネギの苗が入っていた。
これはウォーキングエジプシャンという多年草のタマネギで、
普通のタマネギのように大きな球根を食べると言うよりは、青ネギとしてつかうみたい。
小さな球根が空中に成り、それがしなって土と接したところから新しい株になるという不思議なもの。
つまり、お庭の中を歩くようにして増える。
歩くエジプト人、つまり古いエジプト絵画のこと。
Walking like an Egyptian- とか、そんな曲もあったな。
ハーブガーデンの横につくった、箱型の花壇に3つ植える。
あと追加でいくつか来るはずなので、それはお庭のあちこちに植えてみようと思う。
夫が少し早めに帰ってきたので、携帯電話を借りて、
わたしの携帯会社に電話する。
もともとKDDIだったところで、日本語で丁寧に対応してくださった。
横で聞いていた夫が、（内容はわからないけれど声の感じで）友達と電話してるみたいだね、と言っていた。
夕食は夫作のパスタ。
できあがる直前に、今度はあたらしい携帯会社に電話して、
ようやく接続終了～。
ほっ。
これで圏外生活がようやく終わり。
なんだかばたばたとした日だったけれど、終わってみるとどうにかなった。
