Woke up 8, but spent hours in the bed. We love it here so much.
Dan made oatmeal and we had coffee.
I watered the garden and put some cover crops.
Dan put last pieces of the window.
Then it was my turn.
I put insulation forms, some flooring, and then we put drywall together.
While I was concentrating on the wall,
Dan went to the recycle center, home center, and also cleaned up the RV.
Serena was on the way.
We had light lunch and kept working.
We finished hanging the drywall, and that’s it.
I made pumpkin soup.
I took shower, and cleaned up little more.
Around 7:30, Serena arrived!
20 hours drive!!!
We all wore masks and take some distance.
But we have our first guest.
We ate my soup and made a small fire.
A beautiful night.
８時に起きたけどそのままベッドでごろごろしていた。
あー、ここがとても好き。
夫がオートミールをつくってくれる。一時期よく食べてたな、なつかしい。
水やり後、大豆のあったところに、カバークロップを植えた。少しずつ植え替えるつもり。
夫は窓の最後のパーツを入れていた。
それからわたしの番。
断熱材のフォームを入れて、床材を少し足して、それからふたりで石膏ボードを貼った。
最後の一枚まで無駄なく使えて達成感。
わたしが壁のことに集中している間に、夫はリサイクルを出しにいったり、ネジを買い足したり、それから家の周りを整えてくれた。
セレナが今日到着する。
お昼は残り物のパスタとサンドイッチで簡単にすませ、引き続き作業する。
壁ができたときはうれしかった。これでキッチンの壁も全部はいったー。
それからかぼちゃのスープをつくる。
シャワーを浴びてもうすこし掃除。
７時半ごろ、セレナが到着。
２０時間の長距離ドライブ！
いちおうみんなマスクをつけて、距離をとりつつ、でもあえてとてもうれしい。
この家の最初のお客様になった。
３人でスープを食べて、小さな焚き火をしておやすみ。
セレナはキャンピングカーで。
ああ、うれしい。
