yuko's diary 9/24/26

Thursday.

I woke up 5 and went to Brewster.

It’s still dark in the morning.

Usually it’s busy after off week, but today we only had two.

Hm.

I studied a lot.

I got on the 3pm bus and another one to get to Dan’s work.

He introduced me to many people.

One guy asked “how did this happen?” About us.

Haha

I got on the another bus and went home.

After the last stop and before the bus goes to parking lot, he drops me off near my house.

Today we heard big noise and it was a guy threw a skateboard at the bus.

He thought the bus didn’t stop for him, but this one is the last route and there’s no more bus.

The driver called sheriff and he left.

Jeez.

It was not as scary as things happened in NY.

Got home, and went straight to the garden.

Picked all slightly colored tomatoes as it will rain tomorrow.

Ate a quick dinner and did my workout.

When Dan got home, I was still awake but went to bed soon later.

木曜日。

今日は5時起きでブリュースターへ。

もう朝は薄暗い。

休み明けはいつも忙しいのだけど、今週は全然そんなことなかった。

勉強を進める。

足の関節についてたくさん学んだ。

3時のバスに乗って、それからさらにもう一本乗り継いで、夫の職場へ。

今日は同僚の人にたくさん紹介してもらった。

なれそめを聞く質問で”how did this happen?” どうしてこうなった？と聞かれておかしかった。

さらにひとつバスを乗り継いで帰宅。

最後のバス停でみんなが降りた後、車庫に戻る前に家の近くでおろしてもらうのだけど、

もう後少しのところで、ガン！と大きな音がする。

なにごとと思ったら、スケートボードを投げつけられたのだった。

投げたのは30代くらいの男性で、その人の言い分によると、バスが停まらずに無視されたと。でもこのバスはもう終わりで、その後のルートはない。

運転手さんは警察に電話をして、その間に男性は去っていった。

おおお、事件。

でもNYほど怖いやりとりじゃなかったな、なんでだろ。

家に帰ってすぐにお庭へ。

トマトの収穫。

夜から雨の予報なので、少しでも色づいたものは採ってしまう。

簡単に晩ごはんを食べて、ワークアウト。

夫が帰宅した時も起きていたけれど、早めにおふとんに入った。
