I woke up early even though it was Saturday.
Coffee, oatmeal.
The mower’s tire was flat.
Last time we got flat tire was sometime in the late fall?
The guy at tire store told Dan it was some kind of thorn.
And then I went outside and realized that there’s this crazy weed.
It is covered with thorns.
When it dries it gets worse.
There were many of them growing side of my garden 2, and on the road in between us and neighbors.
I pulled them one by one with hands.
Dan came to pick green pepper for chili.
He finished cooking late afternoon.
It was really good.
We ate with Parmesan cheese and Frank’s.
The knit cap was seemed too small so I decided to start over.
We had long nap, and we went to bed early.
It’s new moon tomorrow?
That’s why we are so sleepy.
土曜だけれど早めに目が覚める。
コーヒー、オートミール。
芝刈り機のタイヤがパンクしている。
前回はたしか去年の今頃か、冬の直前にパンクした。
なにかのトゲがささってたよと、修理してくれたタイヤ屋さんが言っていた。
あ！と思いついて庭に出ると、
思った通り、トゲだらけの雑草があちこちに。
名前はわからないけれど、葉っぱも茎もトゲだらけで、漫画で描くようなイバラそのまま。
乾燥するとさらに痛い。
ふたつめのお庭の脇と、お隣との間の砂利道にたくさん生えてきていたので、
手袋をしてひとつずつ抜いていく。
チリをつくっていた夫がピーマンを採りにくる。とても時間がかかる料理。
できあがったのはお昼過ぎだった。
パルメジャンチーズとホットソースをかけて食べる。
うーんおいしい。
昨日編み始めたキャップはどうも小さそうでほどいてしまう。
糸が細いからだな。
お昼寝もして、夜も早く寝た。
とても眠い。
明日が新月だっけ。
眠い時にはたっぷり眠るべき。
