Dan left home earlier.
It was still dark when he left.

I started with laundry.
Bed sheets and bath towels.
And then I hand washed alpaca socks I wear all winter.
I fixed one pair, and untangled three socks.
Getting ready for winter.
I had chicken soup for lunch.
It was much better than yesterday.
Then I removed AC.
Cleaning the filter, thanked it for this summer.
I took photos of the socks I finished yesterday.
It’s a color of the world with the sunset.
Dan came home around 4.
He brought me the driving guide from DMV.
I will study with this for the knowledge test.
He also brought home peaches, melons, zucchini from an organic farm in Tonasket.
All of them smell good.
I made dumplings soup, eggplant, peppers and bacon cooked with oyster flavored sauce which came from Dan’s work.
I am little suspicious about it, but it tasted good.
We watched Mets game, but couldn’t watch till the end.
Went to bed around 8.
今日はさらに早く出発。
真っ暗な中出かけて行った。
コーヒー、オートミール。
まず洗濯から。
バスタオルとシーツ、それから夏物を酸素漂白、手洗い。
冬の間いつも履いているアルパカの靴下も手洗い。
2足は繕って手洗い、残り3足はもうリタイアさせて毛糸に戻した。
靴下も整理して、冬への準備が整ってきた。
お昼は昨日のチキンスープ。
味付けしてないのに昨日よりも深みが増している。
クーラーを片付ける。
フィルターもお掃除して。今年もたすかりました、ありがとう。
昨日編み上がった靴下の写真を撮る。
ほんとうにきれいな色。
夕陽に染まる世界とおなじ色。
茜で染められた毛糸なのだけれど、ほんとうに茜色の空みたいな靴下になった。
ついでに茄子の写真も撮る。まるで鯨みたいな色とつや。
夫は4時ごろ帰宅。
地元のオーガニック農家さんから寄付があったけれど、
余ったので、とメロン、モモ、ズッキーニをたくさんもらってきた。
いいにおい～。
さっそくカンタロープメロンをたべた。
DMVという自動車免許一般を扱っているところに寄って、ガイドをもらってきてくれた。
筆記試験に必要なものはすべてここに載っているとのこと。これでしばらく勉強する。
夜ご飯はスープを別の鍋に分けて、キムチと白だしを足したもので餃子スープをつくる。
それからナスとペッパーとベーコンを炒めたもの、これも夫が仕事先からもらってきたオイスター風ソースと醤油で味付け。
オイスター「風」というところと、変なパンダの絵があやしいけれど、できあがったものはおいしかった。
メッツの試合を見ていたけれど、8回くらいで目を開けてられなくなる。
そのまま数時間ぐっと寝て、いったん起きて戸締りしてからもういちど寝た。
