yuko's diary 9/2/26

Wednesday.

It was thunderstorm in the morning.

It stopped before I left for work.

It was kinda full day.

But not too busy.

I studied and did little bit of puzzle.

I like this one because all pieces are in funny shape.

It was cloudy whole day and not hot at all.

Then it got windy.

For whole week it will rain everyday.

I am not sure if I can trust them.

It might rain few hours a day.

The last patient didn’t show up and so we packed and I left.

Stopped at co-op.

Saige came to say hi.

I went to the garden to pick some tomatoes.

The another Asian pear was on the ground.

I cut some of tomatoes and removed seeds and put them in the freezer.

I think I’m not yet half way done with tomato canning.

Will make more this weekend.

I ate red cabbage salad and tuna salad.

And made fermented cucumber pickles.

I tried half sour pickles and it is really different.

Very fresh.

We got the water bill and it was almost same amount even though we used so much when the fire was here.

I was surprised and relieved.

I did my workout, took care of utility bills, and wrote a letter.

I was listening to baseball broadcast, but it went to 10th, so I went to bed.

It started raining at night.

水曜日。

朝から雷雨。

でも出勤する頃には止んだ。

今日もそれなりに詰まっていて、でも忙しすぎない。

勉強を進める。

パズルはあんまりできなくて残念だった。

ピースの形が変でおもしろい。

一日曇っていて、暑くない。

午後からしっかり風が出てきた。

今週はこの後ずっと雨マークがついているけれど、信じていいのだろうか。

まぁ、もし降ったとしても、1日数時間ずつだろうと思う。

最後の患者さんが来なかったので、諦めて片付ける。

コープに寄って帰った。

セージが迎えにきてくれる。

そのままお庭へ出てトマトを収穫。

風でまた梨がひとつ落ちている。

色づいたロマトマトの種を取って冷凍庫へ。

トマトソースづくりはまだ半分にも達していない。

今週末もたくさんつくるぞ〜。

紫キャベツのナムル、ツナサラダで晩ごはん。

キュウリの発酵づけもつくる。

冷蔵庫で発酵させておいた方を食べてみたらすごく違う味でおもしろい。

浅漬けみたいな味。

火事で避難してからひと月が経って、水道代の請求が届いた。

スプリンクラーを何時間もかけたり、バケツやお風呂に水を張ったりしたのに、ほとんどいつもと変わらない料金でびっくり、でもほっとした。

ワークアウトをして、公共料金の小切手を切り、手紙を1通。

野球中継を聞いていたけれど、10回に行きそうだったので諦めて寝る。

夫が帰宅した時うっすら起きたと思う。

夜から雨。
