Saturday.
I woke up late and watered the garden.
Coffee.
I cleaned the lid of the new pickles.
I love making preservatives and putting them on the shelf.
Dan made us beautiful pancakes.
I sow more clover seeds, and started painting the house.
I started the west side where I stopped last week, and then go all the way to the east wall of the mobile home.
Finally we opened the second paint.
I am sure that we used three bucket of primer.
Dan decided to do bbq, and he prepared everything by himself.
He harvested peppers and eggplant from my garden.
And prepared the chicken and onion.
Also made rice, so that we can have a nice lunch.
I loved the eggplant so much!
Soft and complicated.
It was a great BBQ.
Then we watched Ons Jabeur’s game.
She’s still not feeling well, but trying.
She was using inhaler.
It wasn’t easy, but she made it.
We ate leftover for dinner.
And I worked on computer a little.
I also watched the same show.
I liked how they show the struggle of the workers.
Working at detention center doesn’t do good for your mental health.
土曜日。
いつもより遅めに起きて、慌てて水やり。
コーヒー。
昨日のピクルスの蓋がきちんと閉まったか確認して、
蓋の周りを綺麗にする。
棚に保存食の瓶を並べていくのが楽しい。
今はピクルスと、サワーチェリーのジャムが並んでいる。
夫がつくってくれたパンケーキで朝ごはん。
今日もクローバーを撒いていく。
それからペンキ塗りへ移行。
西側の壁の残り半分を仕上げて、北側へ進む。
これで、わたしが下地を塗ったところはほぼ全て終わり。
あとはモバイルホームの入り口のところ。
ようやくふたつ目のペンキを開けた。
下地はみっつは使ったので、かなり違うと思う。
夫はバーベキューをすると言って、1人で全部準備してくれた。
お庭でシシトウ、スイートペッパー、ナスを収穫。
鶏もも肉を下拵えし、オニオンリングもつくってくれた。
白ごはんも炊いてくれて、豪華なお昼ごはん。
ナスが、もう、びっくりするくらいおいしかった！
ナスって調理法によって全然味が変わるけれど、これは柔らかくて、味も深みがあって最高だった。
満足して、あとはもうのんびりして過ごす。
4時過ぎからオンス・ジャバーの試合を見る。
まだ調子が悪そう。吸入器みたいなものを使っていた。
始終ソワソワしたけれど、なんとか勝ってほっとする。
夜はお昼の残りを食べたり。
少しパソコン作業もする。
ドラマの続きも見る。
実話ベースらしいけれど、職員の葛藤も描かれているのがいいと思った。
