Woke up 9 or 10.
I watered the garden.
Made coffee, and had toast.
Dan was working on the chimney again.
I moved to the south side of the kitchen.
There’re many wires on this wall, so I had to be very careful.
I needed to put metal plate over where the wire is.
Dan went to get 10 of them, and I used 9. oops.
Dan made us late lunch. Quesadillas and tortilla chips and salsa.
My cilantro is getting ready for seeds, but the matured leaves taste so strong.
I kept going until I finished the entire wall.
Then I took bath. Dan washed the bathtub for me.
He was mopping the floor of the bedroom.
After bath, I joined Dan and we installed little bit of the flooring.
It was not as easy as they said...
Dan had to rest, so I kept going until I finished two and half boxes.
Phew.
９時か１０時に起きたと思う。
水やり。
コーヒーを入れてトーストを食べた。
夫は煙突まわりのことをしていた。
わたしは南側の壁の断熱材を。
ここはキッチンカウンターやらレンジ、冷蔵庫が並ぶ予定で、電気の配線やパイプがとてもややこしいことになっている。
電気のワイヤーが通っているところは、金属のプレートでカバーしておく必要があるそう。
後で間違えてネジを打つと危ないので。なるほどー。
夫が１０枚追加で買ってきてくれたけど、すでに９枚つかってしまった。
夫がお昼ごはんをつくってくれる。ケーサディーヤとトルティーヤチップスとサルサ。
お庭のパクチーはもう種がとれるくらいになって、葉っぱは小さいのしか残ってないけれど、食べてみたらとても味が濃くておいしかった。
食べた後も引き続き作業をして、壁全体を終わらせた。
つかれたー。おふろにつかる。夫がバスタブを洗ってくれた。
お風呂の間に夫はベッドルームのモップがけをしていた。
それからふたりで床材をいれてみた。
木目風のビニールのタイルで、カチッと嵌ってかんたん、という謳い文句だったけれど、いや、けっこうむずかしかった。
夫は途中でガス切れ、わたしはそのあともひとりでやってみて、すこーしコツがわかってきた。二箱半、部屋の四分の一でギブアップ。ふー。
夜はあまり眠れず。
