We woke up little past 7 and left home 8:30.
We had 2 hours road trip to Wenatchee.
I packed coffee in the thermos Dan gave me last month.
We stopped at a bakery in a small town called Pateros.
I got quiche, and Dan got ham and cheese croissant.
We ate them on the way.
Arrived at town, we did one thing, and visited antique mall we found last time.
I got antique handkerchief and table cloths.
After we finish another appointment,
we found a big ground full of food tent and trucks.
I saw a Mexican food vender, and we went closer and found out all of them are Mexican!
So many Hispanic people here, I love that.
We had tacos and talked to the guy at the vender and left.
On the way home, we bought a loaf of bread at the same bakery.
When we arrived home, Saige was there and was happy to see us.
We were out of biscuit, sorry.
We had yogurt and peach.
The peach smelled so good and sweet.
Dan was so sleepy.
We’ve done so much this week.
7時過ぎに起きて、8時半に出発。
コーヒー、ベーグル。
今日は2時間ほど南に行ったところにある、ウェナチという町に夫の用事で出かける日。
先日夫が贈ってくれた魔法瓶にコーヒーを詰めていく。
途中の町でいい感じのベーカリーがあったので、
わたしはキッシュ、夫はハムチーズ入りのクロワッサンを。
食べながら旅を続行。
魔法瓶で飲むコーヒーはさらにおいしい。
途中でパラシュートを見た。
町についてまずひとつ用事を済ませ、それから前回も行ったアンティーク屋さんへ。
大量のアンティークに圧倒されながら見て回る。
今回は古いテーブルクロスとハンカチを3枚。
もうひとつの用事が済んだ後、たまたま通りかかった大きな広場でなにやらお祭りをやっていた。
というか、準備をしている様子。
メキシカンがあるから食べて行こう、と近寄ってみると、ぜんぶメキシカンだった。
こんなにたくさん中南米系の人口があるのか、となんだかうれしい。
タコスを食べて、お店のおじさんと少しお話しして、満足して帰宅。
帰り道に今朝のベーカリーによって、明日のパンを買っていく。
雑穀入りの丸いローフ、おいしそう。
帰宅したら、セージがうちの庭から走ってきて出迎えてくれた。
すっかりうちの子。
ビスケットを切らしていたので申し訳なかった。
夜は昨日の桃とヨーグルト。
切る前からいい匂いがしていて、おいしかった。
夫はとても眠そうにしていた。
今週は忙しかったものね。
