Thursday.
After Dan left for work, I did laundry, and writing diary while having coffee.
Then I got text from Concetta.
She’s going to walk at school.
I decided to join her, and it was the perfect timing.
After tragedy at work, this was what I needed.
It was perfectly sunny day.
A lady with cute dog joined us.
Her name is Jennifer.
Back home, finished laundry, and cleaned the kitchen.
Then went to the ceramic studio.
With her student, we glazed bowls together.
The clay I used was really red, so I mainly used white glaze, and but I also tried many colors.
Colors that I’d never use for my work.
Emerald green, black, brown, blue.
Just like making test pieces.
It was so much fun.
Back home at 2pm.
I had bagel, and took care of the laundry.
Then I made emergency bag.
Dan always has emergency stuff in his car, but we don’t have our important documents in one place, so it was good idea.
I also packed our underwear and some hygiene kit.
According to Japanese website, it should be backpack, but we don't have backpack and we most likely evacuate in cars, so it might be ok.
Dan came home at 5pm, and we went to the farmer’s market.
Tamales, corns, and black garlic.
We went out to look for the star train, and it was a beautiful night.
We stretched and chatted for like an hour.
No sign for UFOs, but I saw two shooting stars.
木曜日。
夫を送り出して、洗濯機を回し、コーヒーを飲みながら日記をつけていたら、
コンチェッタからテキスト。
歩きにいく？とのこと。
行く！と答えて高速で着替えた。
昨日のことがあったから、良いタイミングで誘ってもらえてうれしかった。
真っ青に晴れた高校のトラックを歩いていると、
犬を連れた女性もきて、一緒に歩く。
ジェニファー。
とても賢いゴールデンリトリバーで、時々脱線しながら一緒に歩いた。
一旦帰宅し、洗濯を干したり、色々片付けて、
11時にまたコンチェッタに拾ってもらう。
今度はスタジオへ。
生徒さんと3人で釉薬がけ。
使ったのが結構赤い土だったので、白い釉薬をまずかける。
それから、使ったことのない釉薬をたくさん試させてもらった。
エメラルド、黒、茶色、青。
じぶんの作品には使わない色たち。
テストピースだな。
とても楽しかった。
2時過ぎに帰宅後、ベーグルを食べて、洗濯物を取り込む。
ちょっと休んでから気になっていた防災カバンを作る。
夫が車に非常時のためのものを積み込んでいるからなんとなく任せていたけれど、
大事な書類や着替えなどを詰めた。
リュックがないのでボストンバックだけど、ないよりましかな。
夫は5時ごろに帰宅。
そのままファーマーズマーケットへ。
タマリ、トウモロコシ3本、黒ニンニクを買う。
帰宅したらセージが来たのでビスケットを。
夜、暗くなる頃に外に出て、ストレッチをしながらおしゃべりをした。
そのまま、先日の銀河鉄道を探すことに。
ベガ、デネブ、アルクトゥルスはなんとなく覚えた。
結局見えなかったけれど、流れ星を2つ見た。
とても充実した日だった。
