Woke up 9, I didn’t need to water today either.
We had toast and coffee, and then went to the recycle center and Midway.
The finishing coat for the drywall has two options.
One is smooth, and the other is textured.
Everyone recommended the later, because it hides any imperfections.
But we don’t really like it.
We got the smooth kind, and some painting stuff.
Back home, I did the second layer of the wall.
Dan stained the wood for the window.
We ordered pizza for lunch.
Then I had to stop working and had a session from 4pm.
It has been a while since I did this.
It was really nice to talk with someone.
After that, Dan and I sanded and cleaned the wall, but that’s it.
Maybe it’s fine not make it totally smooth.
We had leftover pizza, and corn dog again.
９時に起きる。
今日も水やりしなくていいのでらくだ。
トーストとコーヒー。
それからまずリサイクルを持って行って、その足でホームセンターへ。
石膏ボードの最終仕上げは、平でスムースにするか、いろんなテクスチャーをつけるか、どちらからしい。後者の方が、ミスを隠してくれるのでみんなにおすすめされる。
けど、あんまり好きじゃないんだよなー。
とりあえず、スムースの方を買って帰る。ペンキ塗りのもろもろも。
戻って、わたしは仕上げ用ではなく、とりあえず２回目のパテを。
これまたなかなか難しいけど、どんどん進める。
夫は窓枠の木材にステイン塗布していた。
お昼はピザ。
買ってきたものにお庭のバジルをのせて。
それから４時に星の談話室を。
ひさしぶりだー。
電波も途切れることなくお話しできた。
その後、夫もいっしょにやすりをかけたり掃除してみた。
うーん、まっすぐスムースでなくていいか、という気持ちに。
寝室だし、そんな明るくもしないから、ミスもめだたないだろう。
夜は残りのピザを食べたり、またコーンドッグを食べたりした。
