Monday.
It was dark outside when I woke up.
The weather forecast says that it’ll be raining from 6, but I can’t rely on that.
I went out and there was a big and dark cloud.
I decided to wait little and it did rain!!
Yes!
I rested until Dan woke up for work.
Coffee, yogurt and banana.
We had a quiet rainy morning, and we loved it.
It stopped by 9, and so I went out to sow some seeds.
Then I started painting.
I painted the cover over the mobile home.
Started from north side and moved to west side.
Saige always come to me when I’m on the ladder.
I took bath and cleaned myself.
The primer is hard to get off.
I made rice, chicken with my garlic and shallots, and harvested shishito pepper and eggplant.
Fried peppers with sugar and soy sauce, made quick pickles with eggplant.
While cooking, I read book and made notes on my garden.
Dan came home little past 4.He was washing his car and cleaning the windows with ammonia.
Saige came to visit, so I made her to come with me for a walk.
We did stretching at night it felt really good.
月曜日。
朝起きたら薄暗い。
天気予報では6時から雨になっているけれど、よく外れるので外に出てみると確かに雨雲が見える。
とりあえず待ってみると、ちゃんと降り出した。しかもしっかりとした雨。
わーい！！
夫の出勤までのんびりした。
コーヒー、ヨーグルトとバナナ。
雨の音を聴きながらゆったり過ごす朝はたのしい。
9時ごろには上がったので、追加の種をあちこちに蒔いていく。
それからペンキ塗り。
モバイルホームの覆いのところ。
気温が上がるにつれて、地面の湿気が蒸発していくので、サウナに入っているみたいになった。
北側から始めて、西側の端っこの方まで進めて終わり。
セージはわたしがハシゴの上にいるといつも声をかけにくる。
お風呂にゆっくりつかって、あちこちについたペンキ下地を剥がす。
ご飯を炊き、チキンはお庭のニンニクとシャロットと炒め煮。
シシトウとナスを収穫して、ナスは浅漬けに、シシトウは甘めの煮浸しに。
本を読んだり、お庭のノートをつけたりしながら料理する。
のんびりした午後。
夫は4時過ぎに帰宅。
洗車していた。
窓ガラスの曇りが木になるようで、アンモニアを含ませた布で拭き取っていた。
そこへセージが来たので、お庭の散歩へ連れ出す。
ちゃんとついてきてくれた。
シシトウ、ふたりとも辛いのには当たらなかった。
浅漬けもやさしい味でおいしい。
夜、夫が8時半にアラームをかけていて、一緒にストレッチする。
うーん、気持ちいい。
今日もよき日だった。
