Saturday.
After watering the garden, we had coffee.
Dan had bagel, and I had zucchini bread.
I continued painting.
Getting used to the roller.
I almost finished whole wall on west side.
But I had to stop before I got too tired.
Dan made quesadillas and beans for lunch. With chips and salsa.
Very good.
Then we had a long nap.
After we woke up and sitting on the porch, here comes Saige.
Quail mom ran out of the bushes and started singing on the apricot tree.
She was trying to lure Saige out of the nest.
She wasn’t interested in, and so Dan tried with baseball but she had enough and left for home.
I received the book I was waiting for.
The latest issue of my favourite magazine.
Dan was working on the mold of the front door.
I decided to mow backyard.
They grow so much in the summer.
I could make lots of mulch to cover three rows.
I made Alfredo pasta using this sauce kit with milk and butter.
It was little too salty but good.
I could use lots of parsley I got accidentally yesterday.
土曜日。
水やり後、コーヒー。
夫はベーグル、わたしはズッキーニブレッド。
温めるとおいしい。ズッキーニの味はほとんどしない。
今日も続きを。
ローラーにもだいぶ慣れてきた。
西側の壁を全て終える直前でストップ。
昨日よりは早めに止めておく。
夫がケーサディーヤにビーンズ、サルサとチップスのお昼ご飯をつくってくれた。
とてもおいしい。
その後ふたりでしっかりお昼寝。
夕方起きてポーチに座っていたらセージがくる。
ウズラママ、走り出て、アプリコットの木の上で鳴き始めた。
セージを巣から引き離そうとしている。
それには乗らないセージ。
夫が野球ボールで釣ろうとしたけど、機嫌を損ねたのか、やれやれ、つきあってられないわ、という感じで帰っていった。
先日の迷い犬より、セージの方がだいぶ自由だなぁ。なんというか犬離れしている。
待っていた本が届く。
まぁまぁマガジン最新号。
初めての海外発送をお願いしたけど、するすると軽く送ってくださった。
おまけのカードリーディングもすてきだった。
この生活を全肯定してもらったみたいな内容でとてもうれしい。
夫はドアの作業をしていて、わたしも芝刈りをする。
その後集めた草をマルチにしたら3畝分できた。
夏の間はひと月でぐんと育ってくれるからありがたい。
暗くなる前に終了。
アルフレッド？ソースという、ホワイトソースとチーズのパスタソースをつくる。
オーガニックのパックと、ミルク、バター、パルメザンチーズを使う。
ちょっと塩からいけど、濃厚でおいしかった。
昨日間違えて買ってきたパセリをたくさんかけていたたく。
