Sunday.

Now it’s still dark at 5.

I waited for a bit, and went out to water.

It was cloudy, and not too hot.

So we did mowing together.

I did the back, and Dan did the front yard.

Dan made pancake and as he cut the amount half, it contained more egg, and was very good.

I did weed whacking and didn’t stop until noon.

It was little too much.

I was too hot.

We both took shower.

No, Dan took cold shower outside. I can never do that.

We watched baseball, and I did some crocheting.

I made soboro don which is Dan’s new favorite.

Dan was looking outside through bedroom window.

He said, there’s a cat, and Saige is coming.

In one second they got into a fight.

So I opened the window and shouted “stop that!”

And she stopped immediately.

I called her to the front porch.

And talked to her while cat is running away.

Saige got a terrible summer cut.

Maybe that’s because she was not happy.

I finished crochet bag.

I’m getting much better.

We could sleep without AC tonight.

Nice cool night.

日曜日。

もう5時だと薄暗くなってきた。

寝不足だし、少し待ってから水やり。

雲が出ていて、芝刈り日和。

わたしは裏庭を、夫は前庭を交代で芝刈り。

途中で夫がつくってくれたパンケーキを食べる。

いつも生地が余ってしまうので、半量で作ってもらったら、卵多めになっておいしかった。

小型の草刈機も使って作業。

お昼まで外にいたら流石に暑くてぐったりしてしまった。

危ない。

シャワーを浴びてサッパリする。

夫は外の水道で、冷たい水を頭から浴びていた。

ここの水は夏でも冷たいので、わたしはできない。

午後は室内で野球を見たり、編み物して過ごす。

遅いお昼ご飯はそぼろ丼。

夫はとても気に入ったようだった。

夕方、寝室の窓から外を見ていた夫。

「猫がいる。あ、セージが来た」というので見にいくと、案の定ケンカになった。

窓を開けて、「セージ！ストップ！」と叫ぶとすぐにやめた。

ちょっかいはかけるものの、本気で攻撃する気もないのだろう。

玄関の方に呼んで、猫が逃げるまで話して聞かせた。

よく見ると、散髪されている。

ハサミでジョキジョキと切られていて、お世辞にもきれいなカットとは言えない。

それで機嫌が悪かったのかもね。

サマーカットには触れずにクッキーをあげた。

小さなハンドバックが完成。

かぎ編み、楽しくなってきた。

今日は打って変わって涼しい夜。

窓を開けて眠る。
