It was raining early morning.
I thought I can skip the watering, but it wasn’t enough.
I watered there trees too.
Those tomato branches fell down because of the weight of fruits.
I need to learn better way to prune them.
For this year, I’m adding more support.
Also, I need to plant less in the row next year.
I harvested more beans.
Red beans cross pollinated with white ones and got pink! Oh no.
But the white one is still white.
Very interesting.
I mowed the clover and now it blended well with other ones.
This made the back yard looks much bigger.
It took me a year, but finally I’m done with this area.
While Dan was out, Joe came to ask how to make phone call on his new phone.
His daughter told him that he needs a flip phone.
I made Oyako don for lunch.
I rested a little after that, but got back to work.

I stayed outside in the evening too.

早朝雨が降ったので、ラッキー、このまま寝ていられると思ったけれど、
すぐにやんでしまった。
水やりから。今日は木にもたっぷりと。

うーん、剪定の方法をまた考えなくては。とりあえず支えを。
あと、どんどん大きくなって、作業がしにくくなった。
来年は間隔をもう少しあけて植えること。
豆の収穫。
赤い豆のはずが、となりの白い豆と交配してしまってピンクに。
あらー、しまった。
でも白い豆はそのまま。薄い色の遺伝子の方が強いなんて、不思議だ。
ソバの実もどんどん収穫する。
クローバー畑になっていたところを刈り終えて、芝刈り機もかけたら、
周りと馴染んで、裏庭が一気に広くなったように感じる。

生活ゴミと雑草の山だったところからゆっくり１年くらいかかったけれど、
これで終了。
夫が出かけている間にジョーが来る。
電話のかけ方を教えてくれ、と。
二つ折りのいわゆるガラケーにすべし、と娘さんには言われたらしい。ほんとだね。
