Wednesday.
I was off today.
It was raining whole night and morning.
After Dan left for work, I changed and get ready.
Concetta picked me up and we went to a cafe to work on homepage.
We checked small mistakes, and changed things around.
Then we also went to the center to work little more.
Back home, I ate leftover sandwich, and worked on clay.
There is this event coming up which people can eat soup out of handmade bowls and take the bowl to home with them.
I used the red clay I had long time and made 5 bowls.
I tried not to, but it ended up very thin.
Then I had a meeting about homepage design.
I made their website few years ago, and now we need to change little and make some merch.
It’s gonna be fun!
After meeting I worked little more on the clay.
Dan came home and we went to Betty’s to get our groceries.
They were not home but they told us that they wouldn’t lock door.
I love this place so much.
We saw a black cow down by the river.
Back home, we gave Saige leftover ham.
Had salad for dinner.
Then watched the end of Met’s game, and then US open.
Ostapenko from Latvia is our new favorite.
She won after two hours long match.
We tried to watch super moon, but it was cloudy.
When I woke up mid night I could see the kitchen was lightened up by full moon.
It was beautiful.
Oh, a busy but fun day!
水曜日、今日もお休み。
夜中から雨が降っていて、朝もまだ降り続いていた。
夫を見送ってわたしも出かける準備。
コンチェッタとカフェでホームページの続き。
細かいところの修正など。
そのあとコミュニティセンターにも行って、もう少し作業。
今日は閉まっているので、静かにできた。
帰宅後、昨日の残りのサンドイッチを食べて、
土を触り始める。
コンチェッタの企画で、手作りのボウルでスープが食べられるイベントがあって、
それに寄付するボウルを作る。
ずっと前にもらった赤土で手捻り。
どうしても薄くのばしたくなって、結構薄いのが5点ほどできた。
うーん、どうかな。
3時過ぎから、ホームページを以前作った方と打ち合わせ。
今回は修正を少しとグッズ作り、ショップ開設。
楽しそう～！
そのあとまた土を触っていたら夫が帰宅。
2人で食品をとりにベティの家に行く。
不在だけど勝手に入って～とのことらしい。
鍵はいつも閉めないから、だって。
あはは。
いつ来てもとても好きなお庭。
今日は離れた、川沿いの草地に黒い牛がいるのをみた。
いいところに住んでいるね。
帰ったらセージが来たので、昨日の残りのハムの切れ端をあげた。
夜ご飯は簡単にサラダ。
メッツが10回裏で勝ったところを見て、そのあとテニスを見る。
オスタペンコというリトビアの選手がとにかくおもしろいキャラで、
夫と応援しているのだけど、
2時間越えの試合の末に勝ったところを見れてよかった。
ブルームーンを見ようと外に出たけれど、曇っていて見れない。
真夜中起きた時に、台所がふわっと明るくて、満月が薄い雲の向こうに見えた。
なんだかいつもよりキラキラしているみたい。
盛りだくさんの1日だった。
