Today marks 10 years in USA.
I woke up at 6 am.
Then watered throughly to the trees too.
While Dan was out, I recorded my podcast.
I talked about living in the foreign country.
I put out the sun dried tomato.
Dan made me pancake.
I decided not to work today.
Took photos in white dress I made 5 or 6 years ago.
Dan gave me Stanley theme bottle.
Yay!
It’s so strong it’s funny.
I will bring it with us when we travel next month.
We made pizza together in the afternoon.
Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomato, fresh tomato, and basil.
It was great, and I ate too much.
Watching Serena Williams last US open was so exciting, but also nerve wrecking.
I couldn’t just watch, but had to distract myself.
Everyone was watching, and it was great that she won straight.
Pancake, theme bottle, pizza, US open.
Very American celebration indeed.
今日はアメリカに来て１０年の記念日。
６時過ぎにぱっと起きる。
特別な日のための下着というコンセプトでつくられた履き替える。
すっきりした気分で木にもしっかり水やり。
午前中夫が出かけている間に、久しぶりにポッドキャストの録音。
１０年海外に住んだことに関しての、ゆるくて率直な感想を話した。
昨日のサンドライドトマトを外に出す。
帰宅した夫がつくってくれたパンケーキを食べる。
今日はお祝いなのでお庭の作業はなし。
６年くらい前につくった白いワンピースを着て写真を取ったり、
のんびりして過ごした。
夫がスタンレーの魔法瓶をプレゼントしてくれた。
わー、欲しかったやつ！意味不明なくらい頑丈なのがおもしろい。
来月出かけるときにコーヒーを入れて持っていこう。
午後は一緒にピザをつくる。
トマトソース、モッツアレラチーズ、できたてのサンドライドトマト、フレッシュトマト、バジル。
おなかパンパンになるまで食べた。
セリーナ・ウィリアムスの初戦を見たのだけれど、
もう、ドキドキしてまともに見られなかった。
皿洗いをしたり、ケイタイを触りながらみた。
後半、ああ、これはいける！と思ってからようやく集中して見れた。
負けて引退確定した時のためのいろんなイベントが用意されていて、すごい盛り上がりようだった。
パンケーキ、魔法瓶、ピザ、US オープン、とアメリカづくしのお祝いになった。
