Wednesday.

It was sunny morning, but cold. 43? Wow.

I walked to work.

It was not a full scheduled day and there were several no shows.

So we went for a walk twice.

The construction was going on full speed now.

They were peeling the asphalts.

A patient started crying when they found out today’s scan is only lower back.

Not many doctor knows about how MRI works, and so does insurance company.

We talked a lot, and they were happy when they were leaving.

We had two guys working on the trailer today.

One guy who we didn’t know the name who I thought Travis, because my college said the service guy, and I misheard it.

He was offended when we told him.

His real name is Miguel.

Dan told me Travis is very white man name.

I finished at 4, and walked home.

When I stopped at co-op, they told me some customer took this detour well, some don’t.

I did my workout.

I skipped just one day, and now my arms are sore.

I made bolognese sauce using plant based ground meat.

I put too much sun-dried tomato, and it was kinda bitter.

Mets was winning but they the other team had ground slam.

We stopped watching right there.

水曜日。

晴れていて暖かくなる予報。

外に出たらびっくりするくらい寒い。

8度だった。

今日も歩いて仕事へ。

今日はそんなに詰まっていない予定の上、来ない人がいたりして、2回歩きに行った。

道路工事はどんどん進んでいる。

町のドライバーたちはまだ慣れていないみたいで、道を歩くのもちょっと怖かったりする。

保険会社や病院とのやりとりはなかなかストレスフル。

特にMRIは高いから、保険会社とのやりとりが難航することもある。

今日の患者さんは、背骨全体ではなく、腰の一部だけのスキャンと知って泣きそうになってしまった。

丁寧に説明する。

MRIの仕組みをわかっている医師ばかりではないから、こういうこともよくある。

最後は笑顔でホッとした。

午後、整備の人が2人来て、あちこち直してくれた。

一人のお兄さんの名前を知らなくて、同僚が、サービスの人、と言ったのを聞き違えて、トラヴィスって名前かと勘違いした。

それを本人に伝えたら、トラヴィスって顔に見える？と気に食わない様子、冗談にしてくれたけど。

本当の名前はミゲル、ヒスパニック系。

後で夫に聞いたら、トラヴィスはもろ白人男性って感じの名前だからじゃない、とのこと。なるほど。

4時に上がって、コープに寄って帰る。

工事の影響を聞いたら、すごく嫌がっているお客さんと、全然気にしない人に二極化しているとのこと。なんだかわかる。

帰宅後すぐワークアウト。

昨日休んだだけなのに、ちょっと腕が重い。

夜ご飯は植物ベースのミンチ肉を使ってボロネーゼソース。

サンドライドトマトをちょっと入れすぎて、かなり渋めの味になった。

おいしいけど。

メッツは勝ってたのに、逆転満塁ホームラン。

がっかりして見るのをやめた。
