The sunrise now is past 6.
I moved my watering time back to.
Put the sun dried tomato into the green box.
Today I pruned the apricot tree.
It has been abandoned for long, it is so high, we cannot do much on top part.
For lower part, I just removed dead branches and water shoots.
I even used saw.
Dan got me an extended scissors.
I worked hard till I was too tired, but finished only half of it.
There were so many branches on the ground,
Dan collected them and organized them.
Maybe we can use for stove.
Dan went to the recycle center and prepared for mowing.
He made BLT sandwiches for lunch.
It’s been a while since we noticed the weird sound in the car.
So I drove the car while Dan was listening in the back sheet.
We concluded that it is inside the car not in the trunk.
The sun dried tomato was perfect.
I put them in a jar and keep it in the fridge.
We had nap in the evening, and I took hot bath.
Dinner was dumpling over rice. With kale and beets.
Saige was here, but we had to say good bye to her.
We went to bed early.
I can feel the fall is really coming.
ついに日の出が６時まで後退。
水やりの時間も少し遅らせる。
サンドライドトマトを完成させるべく、グリーンボックスの中へ。
今日はアプリコットの剪定をする。
ずっと放置されているので、剪定というか、散髪の感覚。
高さ５、６メートルくらいあるのだろうか。
上の方は全く届かないので、届く範囲で枯れた枝や、
葉をつけていない枝を刈り取っていく。
大きいものはノコギリで。
途中で夫が高枝切りバサミを買ってきてくれた。
くたくたになるまでやったけれど、半分もできなかった。
でもアプリコットはさっぱりしただろうか。そうだといいな。
けっこうな量の枝が出たので、夫がまとめてくれた。
今から乾かせば焚きつけにつかえるかな。
夫はリサイクルを出しに行ったり、草刈りの準備をしたりしていた。
お昼ご飯もつくってくれる。BLTサンドイッチ。
ここのところずっと車の後部座席で、走行中に異音がするので、
夫を後部座席に乗せてわたしが運転してみる。
トランクになにか入っているわけではなさそうだった。
お昼過ぎにサンドライドトマトを出すと、しっかりからからに乾いていた。
グリーンボックスの中はかなり温度が高そうだ。
小瓶に詰めて冷蔵庫で保存する。
夕方ちょっとお昼寝。
それからお風呂。
夜ご飯は餃子丼。ケールとビーツの炒め物を添えた。
セージが遊びにきていたけれど、晩ご飯だからバイバイ、というと悲しそうにしていた。
ひっつき虫が大量についていたのでとってあげる。
夜は早めに寝た。
秋になっていく季節の影響を感じる。
