Monday.

It was too cool to water in early morning.

So I waited after 7.

There are so many things to do today.

One by one.

I harvested tomatoes and cucumber.

Small tomatoes are going to be dried.

If you try the traditional way, it takes two weeks, but it takes several hours if you use oven.

It dries up after 5 hours, but not as dry as those you can buy at store, so you have to use them within few months.

There was a little pear on the ground, and I thought deer ate it, but it didn’t look like.

So I tried.

It tasted like a real pear!

Yay.

I did two laundry and harvested carrot seeds.

When I pulled rest of carrot,  it was just a small carrot comes out.

It makes sense, but for some reason it was funny.

This little carrots grew taller than me.

It was cloudy, and I was hoping that I can work outside, but it was hot and little humid.

So many work to do outside.

I cooked dinner slowly in the afternoon while crocheting.

Miso soup, cucumber salad, kale, rice and chicken breast.

I did my workout.

Mets had a kid caster day.

A nine year old was so good, I couldn’t stop recording his casting.

His still high voice was so cute.

The super moon was bright and big, but not too big.

月曜日。

朝は寒いので水やりは少し待ってからたっぷり。

今日はすることがたくさんある。

ひとつずつ、ひとつずつ。

トマトとキュウリを収穫。

小さいものは半分にカットして、オーブンでじっくり炙る。

サンドライドトマトを太陽でやろうと思うと、2週間かかる。

だからこそおいしいんだろうけど、その間虫や風や天気を気にしてじっくりするのはちょっと難しいので、オーブン方式で。

5時間ほど炙ればそれなりに乾くけれど、市販のものより水分が残っているので早めに使い切る。

小さいナシがひとつ地面に落ちていて、シカが味見したのかなと思ったけれど、齧った跡がない。

それでは、とわたしが味見。

幸水より、二十世紀の方が今のところ風味があるけれど、どちらもちゃんとナシの味。

初めてのナシ。うれしいおいしい。

洗濯は2回。

それからニンジンの種を収穫。

収穫が終わったものを引っこ抜くと、ニンジンがそのまま出てきた。

よく考えるとそうなんだけど、なんだかおかしい。

この小さなニンジンが、わたしの背より高く育つのだからすごい。

雲が出ているから草引きもできるかなと思ったけれど、蒸すので早々にあきらめた。

あと少し涼しくなったらお庭でしたいことがたくさんある。

午後は料理をしながら編み物など。

朝採ったキュウリは梅和えに。ジャガイモ、ニンジン、シャロットのお味噌汁。

ケールを炒めて、最後に鶏胸肉のチャーシューを作る。

夕方にワークアウト。

メッツの試合を見ていたら、今日は子供キャスターの日だった。

9歳の男の子が1回丸ごとアナウンスする。

めっちゃ上手で、スーツにネクタイで、最高だった。

まだまだ高い声がかわいい。

スーパームーンは大きくはなかったけれど、とにかく明るかった。

今日も窓を閉めて眠る。
