Tuesday.
It’s gonna be a hot day.
I tried to water well but I ran out of time.
Hope all the plants can survive the heat.
Today a new tech started training.
She speaks Spanish! Yay.
As she already worked at other places this training will be short one.
I will work only once a week until she’s done.
It got too hot in the trailer in the afternoon and we realized that the chiller is not working.
We did what we can do, but it didn’t work.
Hope it will work tomorrow.
I was done but wanted to wait for Dan.
So I went to the Thai place and ordered a takeout.
Dan came to pick me up and we ate at home.
It was nice inside house and we just stayed there.
The heat made me so tired.
When we went out to bring the garbage can out, the sky was in strange color.
It should be smoke from fire.

火曜日。
今日は暑くなるので、しっかり水やりをと思って暗いうちに外に出たけれど、出勤時間までギリギリになって慌てた。
なんとか熱に耐えてくれますように。
新しい技師さんのトレーニングが始まった。
ヴェロニカ、名字からもしかしてと思ったけど、メキシコ系だそうで、スペイン語を話す。
わー、助かる！
すでに技師として働いていたので、トレーニングもすぐ終わりそうな感じ。
その間わたしは週一回の出勤になる。
午後から、どんどん暑くなり、トレイラーの中も暑くて、チェックしてみたら、チラーが動いてなかった。
MRIの機械は温度が上がりすぎると動かない。
いろいろしてみるけど、結局下がらないままだった。
明日直っていることを祈ってわたしはあがる。
外は40度。さすがに歩けないので、タイ料理のテイクアウトを注文して、店内で夫を待つ。
一緒に帰宅して、おいしくいただいた。
やっぱり半分食べたらもうお腹いっぱい。
室内は涼しいのがありがたい。
熱波だと、いつもと違う疲れ方をするように思う。
ゴミを出しに行ったら、夕陽がなんだか不思議な色だった。
また山火事だろうか。
雨が降りますように。
