Watering, harvesting tomatoes.
Then I made a pond.
With this square container we have.
I buried it in the ground, and put stones in it.
And filled with water.
Ideally, I should put water plants, but that is for later.
I wish many animals including deer, and insects would drink water here.
Coffee, bagel.
Then I started working on the top coat.
I liked the results, but I was so tired.
I finished by 1:30.
It means I’ve been working 8 hours already.
Phew, that’s all I can do now.
Did laundry.
Dan made quesadillas with leftover chicken.
With canned beans.
It was really good.
I needed to lay down.
Took easy for the rest of the day.
It will be hot next week again...
水やり、トマトの収穫。
昨日思いついた、池をさっそくつくる。
大きめの四角いタライをお庭の端っこに埋めて、
丸い石をいくつか入れ、水を入れ、
周りにクローバーの種を蒔いたら完成。
ほんとうは水草を入れるのだろうけれど、それはおいおい考えよう。
とりあえずシカをはじめ、いろんな動物や虫が水分補給できる場所になればいい。
コーヒー、ベーグル。
窓の作業へ。
今日はトップコート。
きれいにできたけれど、なんだかとても疲れた。
１時半に片づけて終わり、その後洗濯。
５時半から活動していると、もうこれで８時間。
これが今の限界かも。暑いし無理できなくても仕方ない。
夫が昨日のチキンをケーサディーヤにしてくれた。
缶詰のビーンズも添えて。おいしい。
食べたらもう横になる。
夜までゆったりして過ごした。
来週はまた暑くなるようなので気をつけよう。
