Wednesday.

I went to work.

We could see little bit of blue sky.

There was cancelation and it was not too busy but not too quiet.

I read articles for the test.

I could also go for a walk after lunch.

When I walked up to the school, I could see how far the fire burnt.

It was huge and also close to the town.

Now it is the biggest fire in the state.

But the evacuation order kept reduced.

While waiting for the last patient, we got a call from ER.

We went to pick up after the scan.

When we finished it, it was almost 5.

I stopped at co-op and went to home.

I had red cabbage and tuna salad for dinner.

Then went to the garden to water.

It was so smokey, and I found big branch of old black walnut tree was on the ground.

The strong wind broke it.

It was lucky that it didn’t fell on the roof.

The thunder started when I was half way done.

Then it started raining hard when I finished.

It didn’t last long, but it rained lightly little longer.

I worried about the thunderstorm starting fire, but the rain is nice.

I did my workout and did some stretching.

While listening to recording of Facebook live of fire fighter’s meeting.

Many professionals were talking about their speciality and it was really nice.

They do this every day.

Those firefighters are from California. 1000 of them.

There will be a new team tomorrow.

What a hard job.

I fell asleep before Dan came home.

水曜日。

今日も仕事へ。

少し青空がのぞいていてうれしい。

キャンセルもありつつ、のんびりだけど暇でもない日。

勉強の続き、今日は資料をもくもくと読んだ。

お昼には歩きにも出る。

学校まで上がって、火事の後を見るとやっぱりすごい広い範囲で、しかも近いところが燃えたんだとびっくりする。

ワシントン州で現在進行中の山火事の中で一番大きな規模になってしまった。

それでも避難警告は少しずつ解除されていっている。

最後の患者さんを待っている間にERから連絡が入る。

スキャンを終えてから迎えにいく。

バタバタとして、終わったら5時前だった。

コープに寄って帰宅する。

紫キャベツのナムル、ツナサラダで晩ごはん。

それからお庭へ。

すごく煙たくなっている。

それでも水やりを続行。

黒くるみの木の大きな枝が折れて地面に落ちていてびっくり。

午後に風が強かったからそれのせいか。

屋根の上に落ちなくてよかった。

途中から遠くで雷が鳴り始める。

雨の予報は出ていたけれど、当たる確率は低いと踏んでいたので、水やりを続ける。

ちょうど終わる頃にざっと降り出したけれど、すぐに小雨になった。

雷は火事の火種になるので心配だけど、雨はうれしい。

ワークアウトしてストレッチ。

山火事の対応チームが、毎日ミーティングをフェイスブックでライブ公開しているので録画を見る。

気象予報士、火事のアナリスト、行政関係、消防士さんが、それぞれの分野で解説してくれる。

ちなみに消防団はカリフォルニアから来ているチーム、1000人ほど。

2週間テントで生活していて、明日でチーム交代らしい。

全国あちこちでこんなことが行われているんだな、すごい。

夫が帰宅する頃には寝落ちしていた。
