Woke up and watering a lot on the trees too.
There were so many birds around.
Sparrows, quails.
I harvested beans, and added some support on tomato branches.
Dan went to get cappuccino again.
I finished the East side of window.
Sanded and wiped with sponge.
You shouldn’t look closer now.
Otherwise you kept fixing tiny things and ended up damaging it.
Then started on the south side of window.
It’s on the kitchen counter, so I had to climb up on it.
Removed the wood and put drywall and corner bead.
We both took shower and went to the farmer’s market.
Finally got tamales.
It’s been a month.
I bought garlic from Mariah.
It’s a hot day, but there were lots of people out.
The coffee beans were supposed to arrive but we didn’t see the delivery guy.
I went to check the mail box, and there it was.
I got a postcard too.
Arbor Day Foundation asked me a survey and donation.
How do they know that I am someone who plants trees?

We love this show.
今日は木にもたっぷり水やりの日。
なんだかすごく鳥が多かった。スズメ、ウズラも。
豆の収穫、トマトの支えを足す作業。
今日も夫が買ってきてくれたカプチーノを飲んで、
東側の窓の仕上げ。
ざっとやすりを掛けて、スポンジで拭き取ってできあがり。
最後の方は粗は見ないようにするのがいい。
気になってやりすぎて、返ってひどくなるから。
ちょっと休憩のち、南側の窓にとりかかる。
キッチンカウンターの上に乗って作業する。
まず片づけて、板をはずし、石膏ボードを貼っていく。
このとき、手を抜いていい部分と気をつけるべき部分もわかってきた。
コーナービードを切って、今日はここまで。
交代でシャワーを浴びて、ファーマーズ・マーケットへ。
ひさしぶりのタマリ。
マライアからニンニクを購入。ふたつで１ドル。
しっかり暑いけれど賑っていた。
コーヒー豆が届くはずなのに、こないので郵便箱をのぞきにいったらそこにあった。
他にもいろいろ。葉書も１枚。
植樹をしている団体からアンケートと寄付のお願いが届く。
なんでわたしが木を植えるひとだとわかったのかな。
少しの寄付で、木を送ってくれるらしいのでやってみることにした。
“Reservation Dogs”を見る。
キャラクターが、Let’s go のことをSko（スコー）と言うがおもしろくてまねする。
ストーリーの背景にずっとある悲哀みたいなものと、ふざけ具合とがうまいバランスでいいなと思う。
