Monday.
I woke up at 5am and watered the garden quickly.
We left home around 6:30.
Today I worked at the different hospital.
Dan drove me there.
It’s a hospital over the big river.
The glare of the sun was shining.
We had an opening in the morning so we decided to go for a walk.
It was hot already when we left.
I could read a lot as we couldn’t walk outside.
The second half started from the state of shock when they went back to the normal life.
I don’t know how this goes from here.
I want to know, but I don’t want to finish it.
Dan came to pick me up at 4.
It was so hot outside. Scary almost.
On the way home, we saw a road work and couldn’t believe that.
How can they work in this heat.
We stopped at co-op to get sandwiches for dinner.
The house was not too hot.
I was so sleepy at night.
Went to bed by nine.
月曜日。
5時に起きてさっと水やり。
準備して、6時半に出発。
今日は別の町の病院でのお仕事。
夫に送ってもらう。
湖みたいな大きな川を見下ろす病院。
太陽の照り返しがまぶしい。
朝、まだ涼しいうちに空き時間があったので同僚と歩きにいく。
帰り道はもう暑かった。
残りも空き時間の多い日だったけれど、暑すぎて歩けず。
読書が捗った。
前半がついに終わってしまう。
後半は日常に戻る時の、ショック状態から始まる。
ここからその後を描いていくのかな。
どうなるんだろうとどんどん読みながら、やっぱり終わりたくないと思う。
4時に夫に迎えに来てもらって帰る。
灼熱という感じ。
湿度が低いので、体感はそんなにだけれど、ただひたすら遠赤外線に当たっているような純粋な熱。
帰り道、道路工事をしているのを見かける。
えええ、こんなに暑いのに？と心配になった。
コープで買ってきたバインミーとチップスで簡単に晩ごはんにする。
家の中はそんなに暑くなくてほっとした。
夜はもう眠くてたまらない。
9時にはおふとんに入った。
