Thursday.
I woke up 5 am and watered well.
We left home around 7:30.
I had to go visit my doctor and Dan took a day off to come along with me.
My doctor is very nice, and I noticed that she had an accent and they way she dresses is somehow not American.
Dan told me that she might be Scandinavian.
He liked her too.
I had minor pain due to the procedure, so after ate bagel, I took Ibuprophen.
Tried to work outside, but had to rest a lot.
I was glad that Dan was with me.
We went to farmer’s market at 2pm.
It was so crowded as many fruits are coming along.
We bought beautiful and big apricot from this old man.
It was $1 for 1 pounds.
We told him that we are having hard time harvesting apricot, and he told us that his was frost resistant.
I decided to save seeds.
After had tamales, we had long nap.
I finally got better.
We went to watch baseball at bar.
Just had few drinks and fries.
We talked a lot and had so much fun.
I love going date with Dan.
木曜日。
5時に起きてできるところまで水やり。
7時半には家を出る。
隣町の病院で検査があって、夫が仕事を休んでついてきてくれた。
わたしの主治医は、とてもやさしい方なのだけど、
アクセントや服装からアメリカ人ではないだろうなという印象があった。
でも確信がもてなかったので夫に聞くと、北欧系かなと言ってた。
夫もとてもいい印象をもったようだった。
検査はちょっと痛かったので、帰宅後、ベーグルを食べたあと痛み止めを飲む。
外で作業をしたかったけれど、あまり無理をしない。
夫がいてくれてほっとする。
ちょっと出ては休んでを繰り返して、お昼過ぎにファーマーズ・マーケットへ。
オープン直後にいったからか、すっごく混んでいてびっくりした。
タマレのマイケルに聞いたら、そろそろフルーツが収穫できたりして、増えてきたんじゃないかって言っていた。
きれいで大きいアプリコットを売っているおじいさんからアプリコットを購入。
1パウンド1ドル、という激安価格でびっくりした。
うちのアプリコットはこの数年元気がないんです、と言ったら、これは霜に強い種類だからな、と言っていた。
なるほど～。
帰ってタマレを食べたら、もうお昼寝の時間。
しばらくゆったりしていたら、だいぶ回復した
7時ごろ、さっと飲みに行こうと言ってでかける。
いつものバーで、ビールとフレンチフライ。
野球を見ながらたくさんおしゃべりした。
こういうの、すごく楽しいな。
バーでデート。
