Woke up 6. Watered the garden and tried to finish the east side of the wall.
Dan came to help, and we finally did it!
It looks much better.
I started working on the pile of wood.
Pulling the nails one by one is hard, but necessary.
We might use them for house, or burning for stove.
Around noon, Dan made grilled cheese.
Then we tried to install the small window at the south side of the bedroom.
It was complicated...
When M came to check around 5, we managed to make frame.
And I finished one pile of wood.
We went to the rental for shower.
Today we made pasta.
Took a nap, and went back to home.
Omg, we are working so hard!
６時に起きて水やり。
かぼちゃの花が咲いていたので受粉させようとしたら、アブ？が中にいて、わたしの出番はなかった。
それから東側の壁を最後まで。
夫が起きてきて、高いところの仕上げをしてくれた。
壁の覆いがなくなって、かなりすっきりした〜
覆いの木材の釘抜きを地道にする。
一本ずつ抜いていくのは大変だけど、必要。
いい状態の木材は家に使って、曲がったり陽に焼けたりしているのは、冬のストーブに使うつもり。
お昼頃、夫がグリルドチーズを作ってくれた。
それから、寝室の南側の小さな窓を入れようと、二人でやってみたけれど、
まぁ結構ややこしい。
５時ごろ、Mがチェックしにきてくれた時には、窓枠が一応できたところだった。
わたしは釘抜きをひと山終える。
地下室に行ってシャワー。今日はパスタ。
そのまま少し眠ってから帰る。
