Despite the heat, many vegetables are doing great.
Green peppers, eggplant, pumpkin, squash, etc.
They are growing every day.
Tomatoes are green, but coming along too.
Dan is off work, so he slept well.
Coffee.
I finished the window.
Sanded little bit and smoothed with sponge.
I did very well on this window.
Two more to go.
We went to Ace to get canvas tarps.
They are brown, and waxy and so heavy.
We put them on the outside of the east and south side of kitchen window.
Place the top with screws and used sticks and ropes to tied down to the ground.
It didn’t make too dark inside, but cooler already.
I think it will work!
I made sweet and sour chicken with rice and arugula.
The receipt with balsamic vinegar was really good.
We call Dan’s sister who was birthday today.
It cooled down a lot in the evening.
It will be so hot whole next week.
７時までぐっすり。慌てて水やり。
体調はほぼ完全にもどっている。

グリーンペッパー、ナス、カボチャやスクワッシュ、ウリ科のもの。
トマトもまだ青いけれど実がついている。
夫は今日はお休みでゆっくり寝ている。

やすりがけとスポンジがけをして、掃除をして。
ああ、今回はスムーズにできたなぁ。
この調子であとふたつできたらいい。
お昼頃、ホームセンターに行って、すごくしっかりしたタープを買ってくる。
茶色の分厚いキャンバス地をロウ引きしてあるのか、ワックスのような匂いがして、ずっしり重たい。
これをキッチンの南側と東側の窓の外に張るのだ。
窓の上部にネジを打って、地面に杭をさしてロープで張る。
部屋の中は思ったより暗くなくって、暑さは抑えられてほっとする。
これでだいぶましになるかなぁ。
手羽元があったので、甘辛く煮て、ルッコラといっしょにごはんの上に乗せて食べる。
バルサミコ酢をつかったレシピで、とてもおいしかった。
今日は夫の妹の誕生日だったので電話する。
夕方になってすっと涼しくなったので気持ちいい。
明日から１週間はサバイバルだなぁ。
