Wake up early and watered the garden.
I had headache and then my nose started bleeding.
Oops.
Bright red on the bright green looks so sensational.
Dan left before 8.
I started working on the window.
Applied the top coat, removed the excess, and wiped off with sponge.
I was coughing hard.
It was like the beginning of the cold.
I felt feverish, headache and coughing.
I changed to my PJ, and laid down in bed.
Ate rice ball.
Dan came home around 2pm.
He made us BLT sandwich, and went to get cough drop.
In the evening, when it finally cooled down outside,
Joe came to visit.
He was just like Dan has been telling me.
Tough mountain hippie.
He was having hard time to pronounce my name, ended up writing the spelling on the arm rest of his car.
Saige came to visit, she was afraid but curious of Joe.
Joe gave her cookies, and she was fine. Joe has two dogs.
Debbie came too. She’ll go to Seattle, her grandchildren will give birth.
Dan made bagel sandwich for dinner.
I felt much better at that point.
We went to sleep early.
早起きして水やり。
水やりしながらなんだか頭が痛いな、と思っていたら鼻血。
ひさしぶり。
下を向いて出しっぱなしにする。
緑の上に真っ赤ってなかなかセンセーショナルな景色。
夫は８時前に出発。
わたしもすぐに作業を始める。
トップコートを丁寧に塗って、乾き始めたら削る。
このころから咳が出る。あらあら。
風邪のひきはじめのような感じで熱っぽく、頭痛もする。
なんとか終わって、もうパジャマに着替えて休むことにした。
おにぎりだけ食べる。
２時ごろ夫が帰宅。
BLTサンドイッチをつくってくれる。
のど飴も買ってきてもらった。
夕方、気温が落ち着いた頃、ジョーが唐突に訪ねてきた。
夫に聞いていた通りの人で、ヒッピーをちょっとタフな山男にした感じ。
わたしの名前がなかなか発音できなくて、ついには車のアームレストに直接つづりを書いていた。
前庭でしゃべっていると、セージが遊びにくる。
ジョーにはすこしびびってしっぽが足の間に入っていたけれど、車の中に常備してあるビスケットをもらってすぐになついていた。ジョーは２匹犬を飼っている。
デビーも出てきてちょっとしゃべる。来週ひ孫が生まれるのでシアトルにいくとのこと。
夜ご飯はベーグルサンドを夫がつくってくれた。
おいしい。
この頃には体調ももどっていたけれど、ふたりとも早く寝た。
