Tuesday.

I walked to work.

We started from a patient in her 80s.

Today was her birthday.

She got CT and other scans, and MRI. 

Very nice, funny and stylish lady.

When Adam from the trailer tech came to the door, I screamed “nooo.”

He said it was the worst welcome he ever got.

When they come to town, we have some problem with the trailer.

We had this rare and little complicated scan in the afternoon.

We had to have an ER nurse gives the medication to the patient.

There was a mistake made by doctor and we had to call many places to make it work.

The ER nurse was really nice.

I could read a little.

There was a scene that the main character tries to convince herself to go back to normal life.

And for some reason, it was so real.

I guess all of us has that moment of realization.

I finished little after 4, and Dan came to pick me up.

We went to co-op, and got soup for me, sandwich for him.

Simple dinner.

Watched Mets game, little highlights from Wimbledon.

But went to bed early.

I worked well today too.

火曜日。

歩いて仕事へ。

今日が誕生日だという80代のおばあちゃまから。

他にもCTやら色々予約が入っているそう。革ジャンがおしゃれだった。

午後、トレイラーのあちこちを直してくれるチームのアダムが来た時、

思わず、「えー！」と叫んでしまって笑われる。

今までで最低のウェルカムだわ、とのこと。

このチームが来る＝トレイラーに問題があるってことなんだもん。

午後の患者さんは少し特殊なスキャンで、ERのナースに来てもらって投薬をする必要がある。

医師の手違いで、オーダーがひとつしか通ってなくて、あちこちに電話してバタバタした。

ERのナースさんは体格のいい男性で、クールにこなしてくれてありがたかった。

読書は少し。

一連の奇妙な行動から、目を覚まして帰ろうとする場面がやけにリアルだった。

結局帰らないのだけど、「わたし何をしてたんだろう」と思う時の、頭の中の声が細かく描かれている。

4時に終わって、夫に迎えにきてらう。

コープでスープとサンドイッチを購入。

簡単な晩ごはん。

メッツの試合を見たり、ウィンブルドンのハイライトを見たり。

でも早めに寝たと思う。

今日も精いっぱいやった。
