Woke up early and went outside.
Picked lavender, and prune some tomatoes.
They are getting big.
Shiso is doing great, I thought they wouldn't make it.
Coffee, cherry jam and yogurt.
I did laundry and started working on the door.
I sanded a lot and Dan told me that his mom did the same.
They had constant remodeling their house, and she was in charge of drywall.
Despite many tries, she was not happy about the results.
I guess her inside me is working hard to finish this project.
We had bagels and took a long nap.
Then I did the top court.
Did sponge to remove the excess.
It’s getting there!
Cleaned up and took hot bath.
We had leftover hamburger.
We watched “Reversing Roe”
Wow, those pro life people are so consistent and determined.
I wish progressives work as hard as them.
I didn’t know few facts.
One, Roe was the key point that triggered them.
Two, Regan, papa Bush, and Trump were all pro choice until the church convinced them.
It’s highly political.
Where is the separation of church and state?
I had no idea that America is so religious until I moved here.
早めに起きて外へ。

洗濯機を回して外に干してから、やすりがけ。
夫がふと、お母さんみたい、という。
家のリフォームをよくしていて、義母がパテ塗りを担当していたけれど、
何度やってもうまく馴染まずに、何回も塗り直していたそう。
お昼はベーグルを食べたらもう眠い。
しっかりお昼寝した。
そのあと、３回めのコートを塗って、バリをとって。
あとはもうやすりがけで終わりのはず。
掃除してからゆっくりお風呂につかった。
夜は残り物のハンバーグとサラダ。
夜、”Reversing Roe” を観る。邦題は『彼女の権利、彼らの決断』。
１９７３年のロー対ウェイド判決の前も、もちろん中絶は行われていて、
州によっては合法のところもあったそう。
それでも年に５０００人が危険な中絶行為で亡くなっていた。
ロー対ウェイド判決は画期的な判決で、各州が中絶に関して法律を決められなくなった。
しかしそれがキリスト教会の怒りに火をつけ、先日の判決までつづく５０年のバックファイヤーとなる。
レーガン、パパ・ブッシュ、トランプもみんな最初はプロ・チョイス派（女性の選択を尊重する）だったのに、政治のあれこれに飲まれて、プロ・ライフ派（胎児の命を尊重する＝中絶反対派）になっていく。
プロ・ライフ派の執念と異常な行動力は、恐ろしいけれどすごいとしか言いようがない。
同じ情熱を持って環境問題とか、銃規制法とかにも取り組んでほしい。
よく言われることだけれど、プロ・ライフ派の矛盾は、生まれる前の胎児には異常なほど感心があるのに、生まれた後の子供に対しての感心は一切ないこと。
健康保険や教育、親の職場復帰、その他子育て環境が整っていない上、子供の死亡率１位が銃による殺人。
山積する問題を無視しながら唱えるプロ・ライフ（＝命を尊重する）なんて薄っぺらい。
結局は、政府と宗教が女性をコントロールしたいのだろうなと思う。
アメリカではほとんど実現していないけれどいちおう掲げられている『政教分離』はどこにいったの～。
