Saturday.
I quickly watered and watched lady’s final.
Ons who we have been following was in the final again.
But she didn’t play well today.
In women’s tennis, one mistake can lead to loss very quickly.
She said that it was the most painful loss of my career...
I went back to outside to sand.
Today I used the ladder, but sun came out soon.
I only could do until 11.
Dan was fixing the window of mobile home.
He ordered the glass which was missing when we moved in.
And took out the board we were using.
It looks much better.
We had bagel sandwich again.
Then took a nap.
Watching tennis is tiresome.
I cleaned the room and washed my winter socks.
We are having ants problem, and today I found old banana in Dan’s bag.
I emptied them and washed.
We changed and went to the restaurant for date.
Watched baseball and had dinner.
I ordered scotch, and Dan remembered that he ordered scotch online in the beginning of pandemic for me, but he drank most of it.
Also we bought coarse salt for no reason.
It was a weird time.
Back home we watched more baseball.
土曜日。
さっと水やりして、女子テニスのファイナルを見る。
応援しているオンスがまた決勝まで進んだのだけど、惜しくも負けてしまった。
女子テニスはセット数が少ないので、ちょっとつまづいたらすぐにダメになってしまう。
ああああ、と思っているうちに終わってしまった。
Most painful loss of my career （選手生活でいちばん辛い負け）と言っていて、こちらもつらかった。
切り替えて外へ。
脚立に乗りながらやすりがけを始めたけれど、あっという間に太陽が。
脚立に乗っている分、体が壁から離れて太陽に当たりやすいのかな。
11時までやって終了。
夫はモバイルホームの窓を修理していた。
ここはもともとガラスのブラインドみたいになっていて、いくつか欠けていたのを注文したのだった。
その間は内側からボードを貼って塞いでいたので、それがなくなって外観がぐっとよくなった。
窓が、ちゃんと窓になっただけで、家になる。
生活が見えるからだろうか。
家は小さなパーツを変えることですごく変わるなぁ。
今日もベーグルサンドイッチを食べる。
火も使わないので夏にぴったり。
そのあとぐっとお昼寝した。
テニスは見るだけでパワーをつかう。
起きて部屋を片付けたり、冬の靴下を手洗いしたり。
最近アリが増えて困っているのだけど、どこに来てるのだろ、と探したら夫の通勤カバンから黒くなったバナナが出てきた。小学生か！
空っぽにして洗った。
4時ごろ、着替えていつものレストランでデート。
バーに座って野球を見る。
スコッチを注文したら、夫がパンデミックの最初のころのことを思い出した。
ネット注文と配達ができるスーパーにスコッチが売っていたのでわたしのために買ってくれたのだけど、
けっきょく夫がほとんど飲んでしまったこと。
ロックダウンの最初の日に慌てて行ったスーパーで、なぜか粗塩を買ったこと。
すごいな、すごい時間だったなぁ。
帰って野球の続きを見て、あとはのんびりした。
