Woke up 5:30 or so, watered the gardens.
Those pumpkins are getting bigger and bigger. I made mistake to plant them too close to each other.
But they managed to share the space. It's beautiful.
Dan and I started digging the trench and then M came along.
While I was resting a bit, they put the wire inside pipe and then they found out the wire is little short.
So we stopped there, and decided to change the route.
It was not as hot as yesterday, so we went to the farmer's market at 2 pm.
When we back to mobile home, the AC was not working properly.
I found out the while charging any device, AC won't work.
That made it the afternoon so hot and hard to do anything.
We just lay low and trying to stay cool.
Around 7, it finally cools off, and we started going outside.
I watered the garden again. As it looks so dry.
M came and we dug more till we decided that it will work.
All of us covered by dust, and we went to the rental to take shower.
When we came back, it was dark, and nice outside.
We managed turn off of all the light of the mobile home, and sat down on the chair.
Talking while watching the stars reminded us how beautiful this life is.
It's hard though it's like a dream comes true.
５時半くらいに起きて水やり。
かぼちゃがすっごく大きくなってきた。
植え方を完全に間違えて、三つが混み合っているのだけど、ひとつが自分の茎を折って違う方向へ行ってくれたので、
なんとかなるかもしれない。すごいなぁ。
夫と二人で昨日の続きを掘り進めてるとMが来る。
わたしが休憩している間に、パイプに電気のコードを入れていた。
それで何やら相談しているから聞きに行ったら、もうあと少しで届かないとのこと。あらら。
とりあえずそこまででいったんストップする。
昨日より暑くないので地下室に避難せず、２時ごろファーマーズマーケットへ。
帰ってきたらエアコンが動いてない！
パソコンを充電してたので、それに電力使ってしまっていたみたい。
このロスが大きくて、午後ずっと暑かった。
あんまり暑いととりあえず水分とって横になっているしかできない。
７時ごろようやく外に出てみる。
また水やり。すごく乾いて見えた。
Mも戻ってきて、足りない分を補うためにショートカットする部分を掘る。
３人とも土塗れになった。
地下室にシャワーを浴びに行く。
戻ってきたら外は真っ暗で星がきれい。
ちょうどいい気温なので、外のポーチでビールを飲んでおしゃべり。
ああ、やっぱり夢みたいだ。でもこれ、ほんとうなんだ。
