Tuesday.
When I went outside early morning, I realized that it was raining last night.
It has been months.
I checked, and it got everywhere, evenly.
I can never water like this, plus rainwater has lots of good stuff in it.
I went back to bed happily and slept little longer.
When Dan went work, I checked the mailbox, and got seeds and a letter.
The letter started saying it was raining good today.
Through time and distance, this still can happens in letters.
Walked to work.
It was another old van.
This is my 5th one!
It is so old that hard to work with.
We got used to it quick, and I could read some.
I love seeing Dan’s note on book.
I can see young Dan reading this one.
It went ok until the last patient,
The machine was down.
We tried everything we can, and cleaned up.
I left work with unsettling feeling.
Dan came to pick me up.
After rested for a while, we went to co-op to get sandwich.
When came back, we saw Saige standing in middle of the road on the bridge.
I gave her one cookie
We watched all star game.
Ohtani was answering the interviewer about how he kept going.
He says that good sleep and don’t work out too hard.
Haha, he’s great.
I tried to go to bed early but woke up several times.
火曜日。
朝早く起きて外に出たら、夜中雨が降っていたことに気づく。
数ヶ月ぶりの雨。
外に出て見てまわると、すべてきれいに濡れている。
わたしが何時間水やりしてもこうはならない。
雨水はいろんな栄養が入っているので、それもありがたい。
雨がこんなにもうれしいと感じたのは初めてだった。
そのままの気持ちでベットに戻ってしあわせな二度寝。
夫が出勤するときに郵便受けを見に行くと、種と、手紙が1通届いていた。
今日こちらは本降りになりました、と始まる。
時間も距離も超えて、こういうことがあるのが手紙のうれしいところだなと思う。
歩いて仕事へ行くと、また新しいバン。
これで5台目なんだけど！
これまた古いバンで、いろいろ揃っていないし、バタバタと始まる。
だんだん慣れてきて、少し本も読めた。
学生だった夫の書き込みを読むのがたのしい。
あんまり字も変わっていないな。
スムーズに行っていたのに、最後の1件で機械のトラブル。
気持ちがざわざわしたまま終わる。
明日はうまくいくといいけれど。
夫が迎えにきてくれて帰宅。
しばらく休んだ後に、サンドイッチを買いに行く。
帰ってきたら、橋のところ、道のど真ん中にセージが立っていて笑った。
いつからそこにいたの？
車を追いかけてきたので、ビスケットを一枚。
オールスターズゲームを見る。
選手がみんな楽しそうなのがいい。
大谷選手はいつも笑っていて楽しそうだな。
打って投げて大活躍だけど、どうやって維持しているの？という質問の答えが、まず「よい睡眠」だったのがとてもよかった。
しかもその次が、トレーニングしすぎないこと。
アナウンサーも「睡眠って‥」と困惑していておもしろかった。
早めに寝ようとしたけれど、何回か起きてしまった。
