It’s our first anniversary of arriving here.
That means, everyday now on is the second time.
We experienced full seasons, but as this spring is colder than last year,
I feel that we don’t know everything yet.
Dan couldn’t sleep so he got up and went outside little past 6.
I followed him and took some photos.
He went back to bed, but I didn’t.
I looked back all photos from last year.
Wow, we did so much!
I did some weeding, and then washed shower curtain.
It got soup at the bottom and got some mold.
I used oxygen bleach, and washed it in the machine.
It worked!
There’s some stains left, but it looks much better.
I harvested two bok choy, and some spinach.
And made ramen for lunch.
Then I made more support for tomatoes.
Dan helped me to improve the old support.
He used wire to tie them.
And we put deeper into the soil.
Dan made quesadilla for dinner.
Cilantro from garden tastes so strong, we don’t need much.
We watched game 3 of NBA final,
but we fell asleep during the half time.
I got up and went out to transplant peppers.
I realized two cats were sitting on the log bench.
One brown tabby which I assume from two doors down, and also I spotted him the other day.
The other one was red tabby, and I’ve never seen it before.
They would meet here occasionally?
If so, that is so cute.
今日でここに到着して丸１年が経つ。
つまり、当たり前だけど、これからはすべて２回目、ということ。
季節を一周したわけだけれど、今年の春が涼しいのもあって、まだ追いついていない感。
夫が明け方から眠れなかったらしく、
６時過ぎに起き上がって外に出たので、わたしも起きる。
カメラを持ってきていろいろ撮った。
しばらくして夫はベットに戻ったけれど、わたしはそのまま起きていた。
１年間の写真を見直したり。
すごいいろいろやったなぁ。
少し草引きをして、それから、シャワーカーテン洗った。
裾のところに石鹸がついて、どうしてもカビてしまう。
ポリエステルだけれど、ワッフル状の布でできていて、とれないかなと思いつつ、オキシ漬けにした。
手洗いもする。
その後洗濯機で洗ったら、だいぶましになった。ほとんど真っ白。よかった。
外に干して、お昼ご飯をつくる。
青梗菜がしっかり育ったので２つ収穫。
ホウレンソウはバター醤油でいため、
昨日の残りのパプリカも入れて、ぜんぶラーメンの上にのせる。
おいしかった。
午後、また竹の棒が届いたので、トマトのサポートをつくる。
前回つくったものが、どうしても弱い気がして夫に相談すると、
針金で補強してくれた。
土の中にしっかり刺すことと、結ぶ時に気をつけることでなんとかなりそう。
夜は夫がケーサディーヤをつくってくれた。
ビーンズといっしょに食べる。
お庭のパクチーも。
買ってくるものと違って、匂いが強烈だから少量で満足。
それからNBAファイナル３戦目を見たけれど、ハーフタイムですごく眠くなって寝てしまう。
起きたらもう暗くなりかけていた。
外に出て、今日もペッパー類を植え替える。
ふと気づいたら、隅っこの丸太のベンチに猫が二匹。
先日も来ていたサバトラ（二軒隣の猫だと思われる）、
それに見たことのない茶トラも。
二匹ともお腹が白くて、色違いの兄弟みたいに見える。
いつもここで会っているのかな。
