Thursday.
I woke up 5 and watered the garden a lot.
To the trees too.
Da went to work.
Coffee, yogurt.
I harvested shallots.
They are small, but how interesting they grew from one little shallots to many.
I like how all allium grow.
I will cure them along with garlic.
I took shower, and thought about resting whole day, but it turned out pretty productive day.
I organized leftover seeds and made notes for next year.
I potted up indigos.
And also laundry and ironing.
I wasn’t hungry whole day, so I didn’t force myself eat.
Just things easy to digest.
Pat came to deliver package in the afternoon.
Saige came along and asked a cookie.
“I just gave her treat!” Pat says.
Everyone here keep dog treat in their car.
The package was book and socks from Japan.
I threw some old socks away and changed to new leggings.
It was soft and beautiful pink.
Dan came home around 5.
We took it very easy.
After it got almost dark, we moved the huge trailer to the back.
It sure is like a bus.
We watched baseball, and had a relaxing night.
木曜日。
5時に起きてたっぷり水やり。
木にも。
夫は仕事へ。
コーヒー、ヨーグルト。
シャロットを収穫する。
だいぶ小ぶりだけれど、これが、ひとかけのシャッロットから増えたということが不思議。
ネギ科はどれもおもしろい育ちかたをするな～。
しばらくニンニクといっしょに干す。
シャワーを浴びて、あとはのんびりのつもりが、意外といろいろこなせた。
種の整理をして来年買うものを考えたり、
藍の鉢上げをしたり、
洗濯してアイロンがけも。
食欲が落ちているので無理して食べない。
消化によさそうなものを、お腹が空いたタイミングですこしだけ食べた。
お昼過ぎ、郵便局のパットが荷物を持ってきてくれる。
セージもついてきて、クッキーをねだりだした。
「今オヤツあげたじゃない！」とパット。
この辺りのひとはみんな車に犬のオヤツを積んでいる。
荷物は待っていた本と、日本からの靴下たち。
ついでに今ある靴下と下着を整理した。
あたらしいふかふかのスパッツに履き替える。
あー、あたたかい。
暑いので、ときどきふくらはぎまでまくったりしながらずっと履いていた。
夫は5時前に帰宅。
しばらくのんびりする。
暗くなる前に、大きなバスみたいなキャンピングカーを、庭の端っこに移動させた。
野球を見たり、だらだらしてから寝る。
