Woke up 5:30. Arrived at home little past 6. I made planting beds.
I have been reading this book about biointensive method. It was hard in the beginning, but more I try myself, more I understand.
By 11 am, it was too hot. Cucmbers were not happy, but I don’t know what to do.
I made 5 beds today.
Back to the rental, Dan made the same breakfast as yesterday.
Then both of us cut our hair. It felt so good.
Took a very good nap.
Dan called this company to get Internet serivice, but ended up to get satellite. They will come to set the dish next week. hmm.
Walked to M’s. It was 110. After dinner, we went home for checking.
The sun was under the mountain, so it cooled down drastically.
Watered my garden.
５時半に起きる。６時過ぎには到着して、今日はガンガン畝をつくる。
Mに借りている家庭菜園の本を少しずつ読んでいて、だんだんわかってきた。シュタイナーの弟子が始めた、バイオインテンシブという方法らしい。なるべく自然を模した状態にすることで、商業的な農法より多くていいものが採れる方法。仲のいい作物どうしを一緒に植えるところが気に入ってる。
今日は１１時前にはもう暑くて無理だった。きゅうりの苗がくったりしていたけど、しかたない。助けられそうなものだけ植え替えた。
５畝できた。あともう少し。何を植えるのか考えるのが楽しい。
戻って、夫が昨日と同じ朝ごはんを作ってくれた。
そのあと、髪を短く刈る。久しぶりだー。気持ちがいい。
シャワーも浴びて、すっきり。
お昼寝したあと、夫も散髪していた。
それからインターネットサービスを探して電話したり。
一応、サテライトの会社に決まったけれど、さぁどうだろうか。来週、あの円盤みたいなやつを設置しにくるらしい。
M家まで歩いていく。今日は４３度。
ご飯をいただいていろいろしゃべって、そのまま家をチェックしに行く。９時前だったか、太陽が山の向こうに沈んでだいぶ涼しくなっていた。
水やりしたり、いろいろチェックしてから帰る。
