yuko's diary 6/26/26

Friday.

I overslept as I stayed up too late last night.

Started rye bread.

It was a cool morning, and I was debating if I can pass watering, but decided to water.

Since I just sow some seeds.

Added some more seeds today.

No breakfast, but Dan made breakfast burritos for lunch.

It was great.

Took a long nap.

No rain.

I’m glad that I watered it.

The breeze felt almost cold.

When I was showing my garden to Dan, he found end of season lettuce and said that he wants to eat them.

So we harvest them along with carrots and turnip, and made salad.

With sprout, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, olive, and pickles.

We also made fish and chips and ate all of them for early dinner.

We listened to baseball and took it easy.

I started new book.

“But Won’t I Miss Me” by Tiffany Tsao.

In an alternate reality in Australia, this Chinese Indonesian single mother struggles to keep going.

There is some event takes place after birth, and it doesn’t explain what.

But it felt eerily and I like the suspense of it.

Despite of lots of napping, we could sleep at night.

Recently weekends are like this.

“But Won’t I Miss Me”

作者はTiffany Tsao
