Woke up before 6. I was still sleepy and tired, but once I got out to the garden, I felt fine.
Assembled the extended horse, we finally be able to water almost far corner of our property. This area is so dry.
I tried to flatten the new garden. There is a lot of ash. Maybe I leave them for next year, and plant somethings to next to it.
Dan woke up late, and went to Midway with M. He lended me a wheelbarrow.
I was resting inside motor home with AC on.
They came back, and Dan put blue tarps on top of motor home. Hope it’ll help.
From today, whole week is over 40... oh no.
We took very easy this afternoon.
Even though the AC was working in full power, we could feel the heat.
We went to M's house for dinner, and on the way,
we found our Washington IDs in the mail! Yay.
For few days, we decided to stay at M's rental home. It will save us!
６時前に起きた。眠いなぁ、どうしようと思ったけど、庭に出たらすぐ元気になった。
昨日買ったホースをつなげて、やっと庭の端っこ近くまで水が届くようになった。この後ろ半分はかなり乾燥しているので、水をやったらクローバーでも植えようかな。
今日も引き続き新しいところを耕す。うーん、やっぱり灰そのもののところもあるから、そこはそのままにして植えよう。
午後に読んでいた本によると、松は
夫はゆっくり起きてきて、Mが来て一緒にホームセンターに買い出しに行っていた。ネコというのだったっけ、一輪の手押し車を貸してくれた。やったー。
お昼前からもう中に入って涼んでいた。夫が帰ってきて、キャンピングカーの上にかぶせるようにして、ブルーシートをかけてくれた。これで少しマシだといいけど。今日から１週間ずっと４０度越え。
午後はゆっくりしていた。
エアコンはフルで動いてたけれど、４０度には敵わないみたい。
２時ごろからカーッと暑くなる。
M家でご飯のあと、貸してる家の地下室が空いたから、次の人が入るまで数日そこに避難したら、と提案してくれた。
歩いて行ける距離。
地下で、何もつけてなくてもひんやりしている。
わー、助かった。
