yuko's diary 6/23/26

Tuesday.

I worked at the usual hospital.

It wasn’t too busy or too quiet.

No trouble.

I started a new book about cosmology and physics.

I was told that it’s easy to read, but it is not, for me.

Hmm.

I will keep trying little more.

Went for a walk after lunch.

It was sunny hot day but not yet the real summer heat.

We finished long scan and packed everything little after 5.

Changed and went to the restaurant.

We had dinner with our other colleague.

It was a lots of fun.

I can’t recall when is the last time I went out with friends like this.

We talked and talked.

When I got home little after 8, I changed and watered the garden.

Only tomatoes and vegetables.

Then tried to finish my other book.

Everything is happening in the end and I couldn’t believe it.

Dan came home before I could finish it, but I was so sleepy.

I had to wake up many times to clear my nose.

火曜日。

いつもの病院で仕事。

忙し過ぎず、暇すぎでもなく、スムーズに進んだ。

新しい本に取り掛かったけれど、物理と宇宙科学の本で、すごく苦戦している。

読みやすいと聞いていたけれど、わたしの英語力では敵わないかも。むむむ。

物理そのものより、比喩や抽象的な概念の説明でつまづく。

とりあえずもう少し読んでみる。

お昼の後で散歩に出る。

夏日だけど、まだまだ本場の暑さではない。

最後、長いスキャンを終えてたらもう5時過ぎ。

急いで片づけて、トップスだけ着替えて、町のレストランへ。

同僚と、元同僚の友達と、3人で晩ごはん。

外で友達と飲みながらしゃべるのなんて、いつぶりだろう。

ビールとマルガリータで乾杯。

しゃべって笑って、すごく楽しかった。

8時過ぎに解散。

さっと着替えてお庭へ。

トマトと野菜の畝だけ水やり。

その後は読書。

もう少しで読み終わる、”Kin” の方。

最後の方でいろんなことが起こって、ええええ、と思いながら読んだ。

あと数ページのところで夫が帰宅。

眠さも限界だったので、おふとんへ。

アレルギーの症状が強く出てうまく何回か起きた。
